I don't consider my crock pot fully "off" until it's unplugged.
They really spent the last episode driving home the "St. Jack" narrative. He built an entertainment center! He had heart to heart talks with his kids! He planned for the future with his wife as his business partner! He got romantic with his wife! Then he cleaned up the kitchen so she wouldn't wake up to a mess! Pouring it on a little thick there, This is Us.

He really was a saint.

I can't believe that people are throwing out Crock Pots after watching a TV show storyline. Seriously, if you think about it, everything you come in contact with has a potential to kill you. In this case, it was a faulty knob with a short in the wiring. The old man should have never given it to them if he knew it wasn't working properly. People fly off the handle without stopping to think these days. Sheesh!

Surely if crock pots were still that dangerous we would have heard more about it?

I've seen several posted on my local online yard sale page in the past few days. I think it's hilarious.

The older ones are the best because the low temperature was lower. I really miss mine. Stupid lead.

I hate to say it but I am tired of this show. Jack and Rebecca, judging from the flashbacks, were pretty doggone good parents, yet all three of the kids are riddled with issues.

So many SOL (sobbing out loud) moments in this episode. The little twist at the end with Randall and Tess had me smiling thru my tears. All the actors did a great job.
