Also, let's be honest. If you're a foreign leader, knowing the orange turnip is everything but stable, has access to the nuclear codes, and know next to nothing how diplomacy works, I would be a bit more willing (or pretend) to have talks with my opponents. IMHO, all this proves is that Kim Jung-un is not as batshit insane as Trump. He knows everyone loses in WWIII and he has figured out that Trump is too stupid to understand that fact.

I think it's also well known among capable diplomats and good politicians, how to gain anything from the orange turnip is to play right into his ego. Just like Macron played him. It doesn't matter how much you disagree with him or think he's a repulsive turd, the way to gain any influence is to stroke his very fragile, but massive ego first.

Stormy did that and followed it with stroking something very small.

We’re heading into the last week of campaigning for our Referendum in Ireland (repeal of an amendment which gives equal rights to life to a foetus and the mother). The polls have the Repeal vote ahead but I’m not taking anything for granted. I’ll be out canvassing and leafleting for the week. I have a constant sick feeling in my stomach. Send good vibes for a Yes vote to win!

I really can't tell what we will wake up too on Saturday, tho we should know an indication of how the vote is going late friday by way of exit polls.

All of my family and most of my friends are voting Yes. Have a few I’m not sure of. My hairdresser is a No. I’m not sure if I can go back to her knowing that. Think it’ll depend on how the vote goes Saturday.

Honestly the only strong feeling I have in regards to the outcome is that it will be insanely close either way. I also feel that turn out in older age groups may be low on the thinking that it is more a "young persons issue"
I will be more than happy to be proven wrong on all counts.

3 years ago they came home to vote in the 1000s, #Hometovote is trending again today and I'm quite emotional reading them. So many travelling back thinking very much of the women who have to travel the very lonely route everyday. Sorry for double post.

fitz and jenm, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your vote!
I find it amazing that so many people are taking the time to return to Ireland for this.
