Think my favourite so far is the guy who was flying home from Buenos Aires and met 3 other Irish men on the flight who were also flying home to vote for Repeal. Reading that thread has given me hope so thanks Fitz

I've done my bit and will admit to some emotion while doing so and relief that my yes is safely in the ballot box. I can't and won't predict anything. Just hope. edit This just tipped me over the edge(one of many) the ferry company Stenaline when informed of train/bus delays say they will do their best to hold the ferry now they know of the delay for home to voters. link

The signs I’ve seen have covered the bases between baby murder to women’s healthcare to invoking Savita’s death, but the one that stood out most to me was one that said no one under 50 has had the chance to vote on abortion.
I also saw a few in Irish, both Yes and No. You can do it, Ireland!

Just voted. Got a bit emotional. Was with my brother and he did his brotherly duty by slagging me so that sorted that!!

Just voted. Got a bit emotional. Was with my brother and he did his brotherly duty by slagging me so that sorted that!! I voted this morning, and i was ok, but have been tearing up all day at work reading other people's stories of voting on twitter. And I'm just sick with nerves and super emotional anyway. I'm really petrified, and don't think I'll relax til Monday. Going to leaflet so i can feel like I'm doing something, and not just obsessively read liveblogs.

I know the feeling. I’m going to stay off everything now until tomorrow morning. Glass of wine and some light tv! Hopefully we’ll be back on tomorrow celebrating.
ETA: Something went wrong with the quote there!!

Irish Times exit poll is 68% repeal. But I won't relax until the official result comes out tomorrow.
