It is beyond ridiculous how so many women were forced to travel to the UK or elsewhere to get an abortion. To have to jump through so many hoops to get it done, is just shameful. Ugh, I really hate the term pro-life, it's such a misnomer. If you are so pro-life, you'd also take the mother's life into consideration, and not just the fetus. But no, the fetus takes precedence over the mother.

I know! The law made the rights of a fetus equal to the rights of a woman. How did they think that was supposed to play out in real life? There are women who had cancer treatment refused, or withdrawn, upon discovery that they were pregnant. Their lives became secondary to the rights of the fetus.

Fellow Ontarians Election Day is tomorrow and it looks like not only is Doug Ford going to win, the PCs are going to get a majority. I am so depressed. I always thought he was going to win but now that it is so close I can’t believe it’s actually going to happen. How can anyone who saw Rob Ford’s run as mayor think hey, his just as dumb but meaner, more corrupt older brother should run the whole province? Healthcare is going to be a nightmare but that’s okay because he promised $1 beer. Ugh. Praying for a miracle tomorrow.

I'm right there with you and it is so depressing. I don't get it at all but everyone is so, so mad at the Wynne. Ford is going to crash and burn and take us all with him. Ugh.
