Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is returning, with Jimmy Kimmel set to host. Too bad! I tried out and they didn't invite me on their stupid show so I WON'T be trying out again! #delusionsofsignificance

CW is becoming DCTV. They are rebooting Lois & Clark. It’s now Superman & Lois with Tyler Hoechlin & Elizabeth Tulloch. Walker, Texas Ranger is now, Walker, starring 5 head, Jared Padalecki. The Game is also being rebooted with the original creator, so there’s hope for it.

My father is rolling over in his grave. He loved that stupid show for some unfathomable reason. Of course, the reaction from the Deannuts on Primetimer over Padalecki getting another starring role while Ackles has nothing lined up is funny.

If anyone is interested in a very wholesome remake, I've been watching All Creatures Great and Small. Season two just premiered on Masterpiece in the US; UK viewers I think have already seen it. You can catch up on Season 1 on Amazon. I think I'm late to the party since this was a lot of people's pandemic obsession, but I'm very much on the hype train now.
I love it. It's super sweet, it feels very much in the vein of other feel-good British TV series. Lots of cute animals, beautiful picturesque countryside, quirky townspeople, and a little romantic intrigue.

My grandfather was a dairy farmer, and one Christmas I gave him the boxed set of the James Herriot books. He called me on New Year's Eve and told me he'd finished the last book, and said he'd never read anything that he could relate to as much as those books. He found the TV series as delightful as the books--it was so much fun to be able to discuss those books with him, and hear his own stories of trying to turn a calf, or deal with some of the other, less pleasant duties of cattle care and maintenance.

Bel-Air, a remake of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as a drama series. Will Smith is producing. Honestly? My initial reaction was "why is this happening?", but the trailer actually looks interesting. I haven't watched yet so I'm curious how it turns out.

I haven't watched yet so I'm curious how it turns out. The premise of the original actually does work well as a drama. I might give it a shot.
