Bel-Air, a remake of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as a drama series. Will Smith is producing. Honestly? My initial reaction was "why is this happening?", but the trailer actually looks interesting. I haven't watched yet so I'm curious how it turns out. The premise of the original actually does work well as a drama. I might give it a shot. Oh wow, that actually does look interesting. Clever idea for a reboot. Mostly, I'm just shocked that Will didn't shoehorn his kid into the title role. Or has he finally realized that the talent and charisma gene skipped a generation? |

Speaking of back from the dead, any news on the reboot of True Blood?
I loved the first season, but couldn’t get to watching the last three seasons.

Aaaaand now they're bringing back Quantum Leap. I can get behind this only under these conditions:
1) They find Sam. They find out what happened and bring him home.
2) They have the lead character be his daughter or granddaughter (Sammy Jo was his daughter from a leap in the 1960s and was working on the project in 1999)
3) They give Al a happy ending, too.
Other than that, I'd have to skip it. #ImNotBitter #YesIam

Other than that, I'd have to skip it. #ImNotBitter #YesIam I didn't watch this when it aired and haven't watched the series as a whole (I have a handful of favorite episodes that I tend to rewatch), so I don't have any feelings about the overarching themes of the show, but mainly, I'm sad that Dean Stockwell is gone and hope they don't try to recast that role with a mimicker. |

I loved this show, and Scott Bakula would be crazy to not be involved. He’s had a pretty good run with TV series, NCIS, Star Trek Enterprise, Old Christine. But Quantum Leap was the magilla.
He still looks great too!
I hope they keep the theme, that was one of the great theme songs.
