I don't think Batgirl had anything to do with Joss as the project had been completely rewritten and had completely different directors after he left.

I must say I get why (money) WB decided to release The Flash but they didn't have to have Ezra Miller at the premiere or anything like that so I'm not sad it's pretty much the biggest superhero movie bomb of all time in comparison to its budget

I can just picture the rest of the board facepalming with such force that they got concussions after reading those letters. They really did have to get rid of them both.

Russell Brand always struck me as very sketchy.

He's always been skeevy and "boundary pushing". There was that thing with Andrew Sachs years ago, which was more complicated than the headlines suggested at the time but was still a shitty thing to yell into the phone and other incidents which made me think he was a piece of work privately as well.

Though I thought he had been clean and sober at least for years now, he's written several books on recovery. I know people who've met him though that and they only had good things to say in that context.

The thing I don't understand about Masterson, by all accounts, from the letters and interviews, people loved the guy. He seemed to have been a caring person who looked out for his friends and tried to be a positive influence. Why and how does someone like that do such despicable things? I just don't get it.

To be clear, I absolutely believe it happened, I absolutely believe that he should be in prison. It just doesn't make any sense to me how he can be two such radically different people.

And I'm glad that Wilmer Valderrama didn't send a letter. I've really enjoyed the guy on NCIS.

I kind of pondered the idea of someone being two radically different people. I could be wrong, but it seems to me that at least in adolescents it is ...romanticized in an effort to remind us not to "judge a book by its cover." When I think of so many of the "coming of age" media that was/is promoted, the idea of the protagonist having two polar opposite personas is celebrated. Sandy from Greece, and Hannah Montana, are just a couple that come to mind. The super genera also has a great deal of this. Do I make any sense at all?

Unfortunately, it is completely believable that Danny Masterson can be an amiable colleague and caring friend and also take advantage of vulnerable women. Even serial killers have neighbors who spoke fondly of them while they take lives and torture others. Human beings are very complex, and we have different sides we reveal to different people and different situations.
