All the award shows he's dressed well enough and yet that's what he shows up in for the Oscars...
I don't get him and will never get him. I'll leave him to the youths.

TLo said he looked like a fancy paramedic! I think this would’ve been a great look for a premiere but this is the Oscars. A classic tux or something with a modern twist is what I like on a man.

Very unimpressed with his performance in Little Women but I thought he was lovely in CMBYN. IMHO there is one Laurie and his name is Christian Bale and if you disagree then LA LA LA I don't hear you.

YES. Bale was perfect. He had the right mix of recklessness/petulance and genuine charm, humour and kindness. The weird thing with Chalamet was...he seemed particularly unconvincing in the "older Laurie" scenes. But Laurie is in his twenties during those and Chalamet is as well, yet he played him as strangely child-like? There were just strange acting decisions he made there IMO.

Seems he is growing out of his good looks. He looks so much better with the curly, tousled hair.

When Winona rejected him he was so devastated. She had input on the casting of both Christian Bale and Gabriel Byrne, and I have major crushes on both so I always gave her a pass for excellent taste in men, and good casting because if you're going to pass up Christian Bale it better be for another kind of hottie. I didn't like how Greta Gerwig handled the whole Jo/Laurie/Bhaer triangle so TC's acting choices may have reflected weird directing. Baby Wol and I insist on referring to him as TimoTAY ChalaMAY because we're both 12.

I never read the book before watching the 90s version so Jo rejected Laurie just straight up devastated me to where I want to burn all copies of Little Women. I like Gabriel Byrne well enough but...it was CHRISTIAN BALE and he wasn't an old dude.
I guess to go back on topic, TC has always looked like a rat to me and I'm just tired of hearing his name.
