I have an irrational love for John Goodman, and I feel bad for all of the actors who are collateral damage in this. But none of them should be surprised. She's a complete nutcase. That being said, I'm sure she doesn't care how she affects them at all. She has plenty of money and a bright future in the White House. I expect some big quotes from Hair Furor about this.

I only feel bad for the crew members that have lost their jobs. I am sad that her current mental condition/viewpoint has sullied the good parts that I remember of old Roseanne (say the middle four seasons or so). I wonder if any of the streaming sites will try to pick it up now.

Look like she (finally) pushed Sara Gilbert too far: I mean, I know she was just a kid the first time around so she might've been somewhat shielded from her behavior, but come the fuck on Sara...what did you think was going to happen? I don't really feel sorry for the actors, it's the crew I feel sorry for. They're going to have to scramble for work now.

Whitney Cummings also left, and I suspect there were more. I'm also shocked that ABC axed it so quickly. It's just as well, Laurie Metcalf was completely wasted this season. Yeah, the fact that Cummings also recently left made me think Roseanne was causing problems behind the scenes and has been for a while. And that's probably why ABC moved so quickly - the show was probably already dangling by a thread (made of ad dollars). I do feel bad for the people who are suddenly and unexpectedly without a job, and it sucks that they lost their job because one person on the show is a garbage person (she is, unfortunately, the center of the show). But...ABC knew what they were getting into. They had to have known the risks. Roseanne did not start tweeting like this yesterday. She's been at it for years. I don't think any other network can rescue this. I mean, Tim Allen's show got rescued, but Tim Allen is at least smart enough to not tweet racist things and conspiracy theories. Trump will lose his mind over this. I expect it will be the subject of his morning Twitter dump tomorrow. ETA: Roseanne's agency just dropped her too.

ABC cancelled it so quickly and efficiently I have to believe they had an exit plan in case something like this happened. So good for them for pulling the plug on their highest rated show, I’m sure it wasn’t easy. But if you knew there was a strong possibility that the star of the show would go on a hateful racist rant, maybe don’t bring it back in the first place.
The actress who played Harris said she was in the middle of calling her manager to quit the show when she found out it was cancelled. I wonder if some of the bigger names like John Goodman or Laurie Metcalf had already told ABC they were done too which was why it was axed.
Rita Moreno was dragging Roseanne on Twitter and it was delightful.

Why was she talking about Valerie Jarrett now anyway? I haven't heard that name in years. Have they been attacking her on Faux News lately or something?

It is so weird to attack Valerie Jarrett when she wasn't even one of the more prominent figures in the Obama administration. I heard she's taking part in a town hall meeting today about racism. Is that what set Roseanne off? Such interesting timing.

I never understood the appeal of Roseanne Connor or Roseanne Barr. She comes across as mean-spirited, defensive, delusional, self-aggrandizing, and unwilling to accept responsibility for her actions, always blaming other people/things. She seemed to use being bipolar as an excuse for being an ass. Has she really been diagnosed with a mental problem?

Roseanne was on a tear this morning on twitter. She must've been hell to work with so ABC didn't hesitate after her ugly racism on full display. I wonder if Trump will tweet a comment or not?
