They are actually being a bit cagey about whether or not Roseanne will make money off of this spin-off (she's definitely not involved technically/creatively, but when asked about the financial bit, the show's producers basically refuse to answer the question).
So...that continues to be a "nope" for me.

Yeah, plus since she had to sign-off on this I fear her character write-off will be something of a middle finger, like she got trampled by a bunch of liberal protestors or something.

There's no way in hell she'd go this quietly unless there's a massive paycheck involved.

Yep It's Official. Everyone is back, it seems, except for one character. I wonder if they will go as over the top as Charlie Sheen's demise on Two and a Half Men. Most likely, they will kill her off during the surgery the character was to have on her knees, which a natural disaster flooding helped pay for. They already have a potential kill off scenario with her opioid consumption, it would certainly be a timely storyline. To have an older woman with no history of drug abuse die of opioids would be telling a common story that people don't like to think about, that it could happen to them. But the whole stink of the real-life controversy seems like it would interfere with the storytelling. I have to admit that I'm a little surprised that John Goodman and Laurie Metcalf would come back, they always seemed to stand by Roseanne. Yeah, Sara Gilbert's acting was pretty terrible for me. I've watched the original series a lot lately and she was so good as a kid and teen, but she falls so flat for me as an adult. Same with Lecy Goranson, she was a decent actor back in the day, but now she reads her lines like they're being fed to her one word at a time. I'll probably take a pass on this one.

I would like to see more of a DJ and Geena storyline and perhaps Dan finding love again? Booker romancing Jackie? Oh the possibilities.

I do like Darlene’s interaction with her son. She can actually get teary -eyed and it looks genuine. I get bored with the “banter” between her and Becky. Jackie and Roseanne they ain’t.

I want Roseanne to lose her health insurance and die because of it. That seems fair to me.
Maybe just maybe she felt bad for the cast and crew who all got screwed over by her. (Wishful thinking I know)

Do you think they will all be living in the house still?

My email newsfeed said the PTB wouldn't agree to the new series until Roseanne gave up all creative and financial rights.
