I flew through all 8 episodes of The Trust on Netflix over the weekend. I thought it was a fascinating way to look at selfishness vs selflessness in people!

Anyone watching Traitors (the US version)? It's soooo frustrating to watch, but I absolutely love it! I really dislike the American version and didn't make it past the first episode of season 2 on Peacock. I hate that all the players are previous reality show participants. They know each other and come into the game with previous judgments and relationships. Season 1 of the US version it was half reality stars and half regular people and I enjoyed it a lot more. I loved Alan Cumming as the host of season 1 but he was really hamming it up in season 2. Love Claudia Winkleman and I can't wait for Season 2 of the UK version to become available here.

For some reason, I like Season 2 of Traitors better than Season 1. Maybe it's because I think Phadra from the RWHW of Atlanta and other Bravo shows is fierce and she's killing it (literally!). Plus, I like say, "It's She by Sheree!" anytime Sheree comes on the screen. It's the only way that I address her.

I agree this has been a great second season. It seems like the first season most of the cast was trying to figure out the show. This season, more of them get it and showed up to play.

And Phaedra is so OTT and I love it! I think Trishelle might be out-bereting Alan!

Apple + and some really great shows. We've been watching Masters of the Air and it's riveting. The series finale drops tomorrow and I think there's a documentary also coming. We also started Slow Horses with Gary Oldman and I'm getting into it.

Been debating if I wanted to cancel Apple TV since all these damn subscriptions are getting costly. I’m glad I kept it because Masters of the Air was really really good. Callum Turner and Nate Mann were excellent.
Now I’m watching One Day on Netflix. Leo Woodall is amazing. And gorgeous. Ambika Mod is good as well. But Leo Woodall, damn.

I'm watching Mr. Bates vs. The Post Office on PBS's Masterpiece. Ho. Lee. Shit. It's the true story how the Royal Mail tried to cover up serious problems with their new, expensive computer system by blaming sub-postmasters across the country for financial losses. When the sub-postmasters said that the software was faulty, the authorities lied to them and said no one else had reported a problem. These poor people had their lives destroyed because the post office wouldn't admit that the system they spent millions of pounds on was buggy.

Very late to the party, but I’m watching Station Eleven on Max. It’s very “The Last of Us” like. No zombies (although there is a pandemic), interweaving stories and leaving you adrift after you fall in love with a character.
I actually remember starting to read the book, but never got into it. I’m surprised that I missed so much.
I have two more episodes, and it looks like there won’t be a second season. A very compelling story.

They were a ton of changes from the book to the show, so you probably didn't miss as much as you think. The last episode, particularly the last 15 minutes, is divine.
