What Are You Watching?: More TV You're Hooked On

Does anybody watch Ghosts? Either the UK or US version (or both)? I've seen both and they are each good in their own way.

I’ve been binge watching The House of Elliot. I am thoroughly enjoying it, but I told my husband that if you made a drinking game of taking shot after every time “the collection” was said, you would have alcoholic poisoning by the end of the episode.

I love Ghosts, I've been watching the US version. They did run several episodes of the UK version here, which I saved to watch later.

Finished three seasons of Slow Horses on Apple + and I need the next season right now!

I enjoyed Slow Horses so much, I bought the first book. Haven’t read it yet, though, lol. Excellent TV series!

Confession: I grumbled this morning, as usual, as my alarm went off. But I immediately popped out of bed when I realized season 3 of Bridgerton is available today! It’s such fun and easy-to-watch TV.

ETA: Not liking the actress playing Francesca. Her Botoxed forehead is bothering the hell outta me.

My neighbor and I have been bingeing Slow Horses, too.

The new actress playing Francesca (Bridgerton) is very beautiful, but is practically a statue, and I feel absolutely nothing towards her story. I've seen on other forums people are arguing that she's autistic/neurodivergent, hence her preference for absolute silence and her extreme attention to detail with music, and I can see that. I'm torn between thinking it's good representation, but also, it's incredibly boring to watch.

I want to like this season more than I do. The costumes, as ever, are spectacular, especially Cressida's. Her massive shoulder pieces and insane hairdos are a delight. But Penelope is basically a villain at this point, she's done a lot of really horrible things while simultaneously acting like she's the victim, so it's hard to root for her. And while Colin is hotter than he used to be thanks to an offscreen glow up/time spent in the Regency gym, he doesn't have the charisma of Anthony or Simon.
