Watched the new Matlock with Kathy Bates yesterday. Really enjoyed it! Has nothing to do with the old Matlock tv show, and there’s quite a twist at the end. I really enjoyed this too. I'd even read this post first about the twist and still didn't see that coming. Kathy Bates was fantastic, it reminded me a bit of her character in Fried Green Tomatoes when she was laying on the folksiness bit. And her line about older women becoming invisible called back the "I'm older and have better insurance" moment from FGT as well. |

Nobody Wants This on Netflix is just the cutest romantic comedy I've seen in a while (and this is not my type of show typically)! I thought the dialogue was fresh and witty. Also, I've never watched Adam Brody in anything but he is just so charming! He has great chemistry with Kristen Bell. I want more!!

Same w/ Paramount+ and Wolf Pack and Prime and The Peripheral. I started watching this too then got distracted and forgot I started watching it. So an episode or two it seemed all right but it didn't grab my attention It only half grabbed my attention, so no police were involved. |

Over the summer I added Starz to my cable line-up so I could watch Mary & George, which I enjoyed.
Started watching other series like White Princess, White Queen & Spanish Princess. Enjoyed them, but had to stop after the second season of Spanish Princess (the accents were killing me & was more invested in side characters than the leads).
Which brings me to Serpent Queen. Loved it and couldn't wait for the 2nd season. Watched it, had a ball, loved the last episode and looked forward for a 3rd season. AND THEN STARZ CANCELED IT!
Really? It was doing good in the ratings. I give up.
I have turned into one of those viewers that refuse to watch anything new until the series is done.
And all the Bridgerton fans have my sympathy because there are 4 more books to adapt, the agony if Netflix canceled them.

GBBO: So sad Nelly went home, but at this point the bakers are all pretty even in skill. Gill is my new favorite.
Sumayah has some great bakes, but her voice grates on my last nerve.
