I just restarted Queer As Folk from S:1 E:1. It's HGTV's first time. It's making me so happy! Life was so much simpler in 2005.

Did anyone else watch the premier of "I Am The Night", with Chris Pine on TNT? I watched it last night and am still trying to decide how I feel about it. Even Previously TV doesn't have a thread yet. I thought it started out a little slow, but the end picked up. And I love that they filmed in the actual Sowden house. I also hadn't realized it's based on a true story and Fauna Hodel was a real person. I did not know that either until I googled this morning and found out it's based on real events. Boy Jimmy Lee was a hot mess.

India Eisley, the actress playing Fauna, is the spitting image of her mother, Olivia Hussey.

The real-life events are fascinating, but the pilot left me wanting. Not even Chris Pine could hold my interest. We'll see where the 2nd episode goes.

I wasn't aware it was based on a true story until the end. I was intrigued by the first episode and will stay with it as long as I can. This is my first time hearing about this case, so I'm trying to to spoil myself by reading up on it

I don't know that knowing about the real-life Fauna Hodell would necessarily spoil this series, and I think that's what worries me. Is it Patty/Fauna's story, or the Chris Pine character? (I think his name is Jay?)

Has anybody else watched Kidnapped In Plain Sight on Netflix? It. Is. Bonkers. It is also tragic that poor girl was failed so badly. Spoilers below- {Spoilers}The handy in the car. Needing to share a bed with Jan "for therapy". The mom having an affair with Berchtold after he'd kidnapped her daughter and married her Mexico?! This family didn't seem badly off. Did it never occur to them to move across the country? Especially after Berchtold burned down the family business? If I were that FBI agent I would have had a rage stroke. I'm glad Jan seems to be doing okay.

Watched “Russian Doll” on Netflix (ended up watching the whole thing, which wasn’t hard - episodes are 30 minutes). It was really good and Natasha Lyonne is excellent in it.
