I am now trying to plan surface road routes to hotels and the Norwood Theater for Saturday. Looking like Upton/Washington may be a straight shot. Warning: A lot of surface streets are going to be closed off by police to anyone except residents. The southern part of Washington Street near Route 1 entering Norwood will definitely be closed. Further north will probably be fine. Just don't go anywhere near Route 1! Good luck with the gig!

Thanks for the traffic report in greater Boston this weekend, sincerely! I am now trying to plan surface road routes to hotels and the Norwood Theater for Saturday. Looking like Upton/Washington may be a straight shot. I am hoping we time our arrival tomorrow night while everyone is playing, and we hit the eye of the traffic storm! Topic: I like Taylor enough to let her songs play when they come on. So, better than REO Speedwagon w/ Kevin Cronin, and the Kars for Kids jingle! Good luck!! I’ll be in neighboring Canton Saturday night for my son’s hockey game and we need to head there when everyone else will be heading to Gillette. Thinking we need to leave 3 hours early and just grab food beforehand. Thankfully while I am going to Taylor on Sunday, I have a friend who lives a mile away from the stadium who will let me park there. Score!

Taylor stopped security from kicking out a fan during a concert. Apparently the fan was dancing.

Made it! Just finished sound check. Many, many Swifties at the hotel.
But OUR audience will be DRY!
Thanks for the traffic advice, everyone. We came down to the theater 2 hrs early to avoid it all, and while the GPS claimed 10 minutes from the hotel it was really 20. But all is well in Norwood!

Per TMZ, Taylor and Matty have broken up.
Barely enough material there for a song...

I never bothered to click and find out why everybody was so irate about dating this guy, whoever he is. But I did see a story that said there is a picture of him kissing a guy at a 1975 concert. And I thought, "Wow, how old is this guy?! If he was kissing somebody at a concert in 1975, that would make him in his 60's!?" The kids and their music have truly passed me by.

Healy mostly caused outrage for a particular brand of edgelord hipster racism. But it's not like this is surprising or Swift has ever cared about such things. It took her years to release a milquetoast statement regarding her Aryan Princess status with the alt right.
The songs she'll write about this could be fun, though. "I was just a 33-year-old billionaire victim, not knowing what this man I've been friends with for years is all about. Shock! Horror!"
It is quite interesting that the music industry is much less touched by any of the social discourse that the film industry is at least pretending to care about. I guess since many artists/music has a much more direct way to reach an audience, there's less need to pretend about social issues of any kind. I mean, I get it, you'd basically have to throw out most of popular music history if you only want to keep the unproblematic ones LOL ( I had a run of getting into Marvin Gaye, the Stones and Prince once and then making the mistake of googling all of them....Yikes and double yikes and triple yikes...and that is just rampant everywhere throughout all genres), but the difference is still interesting.

I’m actually proud of the Swifties for keeping their foot on her neck. This is one thing they didn’t sweep under the rug.
I was softening towards TS but I’m glad she pulled this stunt to remind me of her issues.

He heads a band called The 1975. Why that name? I don't know. I lived through it and it was a crappy year.
