Finished it this weekend too, and loved it. Nice wrap up, yet set up for season two. It's my understanding that each book focuses on one Bridgerton child, so I assume Daphne was book one? Not in order of age or alphabet? Who is the focus of book two?
And if Hyacinth is the youngest, why is she so much taller and older looking than her G brother?

I have a friend who looks about the same age as his younger sister but is still waiting for that boys growth spurt thing so he be taller than her, he’s 43! He got hit by the shortarse gene, Bridgerton G bro might have the shortarse gene too....

Dis anybody besides me have trouble telling A & B apart? The casting director certainly achieved "family resemblance."
Edited for spelling.

The second book is Anthony’s story. You can tell him apart from Benedict in the series because Anthony has the sideburns.

I had never heard of the book series before the show, so now I'm reading Anthony's book and it's super fun (not very deep into yet though). His love interest is delightful and if they play this right, it could be a real fun season. I do wonder though what they'll do with Daphne and Simon since I guess most Netflix viewers will want to see them in upcoming seasons as well.

Finished last night, and the One. Thing. That. Bothers. Me. The. Most. is that the Prince's necklace is STILL on the stone wall out in the garden. Gah!!! I watched the entire series over Dec 25-26, and the necklace is STILL bugging me. It just...disappeared. I hope one of the servants found it, sold it, and bought herself a nice little property in the country.

Am I the only one who finds Daphne and Simon the most boring storyline, especially after the wedding? I like Penelope, Eloise, Anthony and Colin. I kind of zone out for the rest of them.

The ruse Daphne and the Duke had going on was fun, but once that was over and they got married things got boring and a bit uncomfortable at times. If the series follows the books and the focus will shift next season, I hope Daphne very much stays in the background. She got what she wanted, so move on. But I’m afraid they won’t do that because her husband is hot. Though if they leave them on the back burner, they need to find a way to keep Lady Danbury around. I liked her a lot. Penelope and Eloise are far more interesting, as is the middle Bridgerton son (not only can I not tell the two eldest sons apart, I don’t even know their names). If Netflix cancels after three seasons as is their habit lately, they can have an Eloise/middle son season and a Penelope/Colin season. I don’t care about the rest of them.
