A couple of weeks ago I learned that ShantyTok is a thing (pirate drinking songs on TikTok). Today I saw one that someone posted to his stories on Instagram and it is a pirate drinking song about the GameStop situation. It was hilarious. I'd post it here but I don't know how to track down the original because I'm not on TikTok. Edit: Could not find the TikTok but this made me laugh. |

A few of my friends bought Game Stop stock with the intent to sell it and make money. I told them to hold tight because now it isn't about making money, but teaching hedgefund managers a lesson (my friends can afford to take a loss. I obviously wouldn't be suggesting this to them if I knew they were strapped for funds). Someone on Twitter in the same situation said: "I'm not losing money, I'm paying for revenge" |

Oregon became the first state today to decriminalize possession of small amounts of illegal drugs. Instead of getting arrested and sent to jail, people will either pay a fine or get a health assessment/drug counseling. The taxes on legal marijuana being used to pay for the rehab services.

Can we just stop with this nonsense already? When will new parents get it through their heads that nobody cares about their baby's sex as much as them? Maybe the grandparents. I'm thankful this trend is not a thing in my area. Each person wants to one-up the previous one, and this is what can happen.

But I would expand on this point to include that no one really cares about others' kids, except for the parents (and probably the grandparents). 😂 I could expand this point even further to include people's dogs. |

Isn’t it illegal to shoot a loaded gun in the air? (Wild West shoot
‘em up celebration style). It should be just as illegal to blow up (pretty much) pipe bombs. Heck, you can’t even blow off cherry bombs, and they just take out fingers. Not grandmas and friends and half a state in a forest fire.
