The police response to a peaceful vigil for Sarah Everard on Clapham Common tonight is So wrong in so many waysSo wrong. One of the Met’s ( London police) own kidnapped and murdered Sarah and here they are agressively handling women. Awful scenes and just adding to the pain for her family.

Just mind boggling that The Met has responded to the murder of a woman by one of its own Officers by forcibly arresting women who were peacefully holding a vigil. As if they weren’t already facing a slew of bad PR.....

Have you guys been following the Dave Ramsey scandal? This is just the tip of the iceberg of some really crazy stuff. He's being sued, after firing a woman for getting pregnant (he doesn't allow his employees to have sex outside marriage) but ignoring that fact that the guy he is grooming to be his successor (and his biggest moneymaker) was apparently having affairs willy nilly. He's a Covid denier and sounds straight-up crazy. Here is Ramsey Solution's response to the above article. This press release is insane. If you read the accounts from people who have worked there and left, it sounds like a cult. The Covid stance is awful. Ramsey's an anti-masker and refuses to let his employees work at home -- and if they wear a mask at work they are ridiculed. One spouse of an employee, who was high-risk, questioned them being called back to the work in the office on Facebook -- and didn't even name the business -- and the employee was immediately fired for the spouse's post. The acts of intimidation are scary. After he fired the woman and kept Hogan, apparently several employees quit in protest. Ramsey's CTO went to one's new employer and tried to get him fired and his wife said on Twitter they were trying to intimidate them into silence. The Glassdoor reviews are illuminating. Former employee say that when RS gets a bad review, they make current employees write a bunch of glowing ones to bury it. Only they sound like robots in the review. So you will read this really honest, disturbing review of some really weird stuff and then a bunch of plastic-sounding ones with lots of exclamation points. And this employee was fired after attending Ramsey's mandatory Christmas party with more than a thousand other people and catching Covid there. The employee's husband complained about the party later to a former employee, who told RS, and they fired his wife. It paints Ramsey as a crazy megalomaniac. And a very mean person who wields the Bible as a weapon.

I had not seen that but am not surprised. Over my professional career I have worked for two places where the leaders of the company were very vocal about their Christian faith and actively promoted it as part of the company ethos and those were the worst places to work hands-down. It became a shield for lots of manipulation and, in one case, borderline emotional abuse.

It stuck out to me that it was a *former* employee who went and tattled to RS - why would they do that? Cult, cult, cult. Several of the mainline Christian pastors I follow on Twitter have repeated called Ramsey out for not only acting in un-Christian ways, but for having crappy financial advice as well.

Tragedy last night in Atlanta
This is heartbreaking. This hatred for Asians and Asian Americans is so ignorant and dangerous and I know people who have personally suffered as a result of this.

I'm Chinese in Atlanta and have never lived in fear but maybe I should?! Christ. Of course this 21-year-old white piece of shit was taken in without incident. The phrase "domestic terrorist" comes to mind. Now there are arguments over whether he was just an incel who hates women or whether it was racially motivated. Ummm...there's strip clubs all over the place that he could have hit if that was the case. Not specifically Asian spas that are quite far away from where he lives.

Can it not be both? A racist intel?

The cops and the media are all, "He said it wasn't racially motivated, so...¯\_(ツ)_/¯"
Except one of the survivors is saying that he came into at least one of the spas screaming that he was going to kill all the Asians.
So, yeah. He could be an incel, but he sure did decide to take out his issues with women on just women of one race, soooooo...yeah. I'd say both.
I really want to scream because the police spokesman was all, "He had a really bad day yesterday and this was the result." Yeah, well, I'm willing to bet the victims and their families had a worse day. I'm so tired of all the excuses that only seem to come up when the shooter is white. If he weren't white, I'm positive the cops wouldn't be saying anything like that.

I also hate that I know more about this degenerate than I do about any of the victims.
The narrative right now is all about his actions and providing flimsy near-excuses for what he did. He was just a sex addict having a bad day everyone! Sure, maybe he killed 8 people, but the majority of them were low income Asian sex workers, as opposed to this young white Christian man. I am sick to my stomach about it.
