Here is a direct link to the article from page three about Daniels' girlfriend/lover forgiving him. I find it ironic that Jude is the one who didn't want to get back with Sienna. You know what they say, what goes around comes around.

He doesn't look like I would imagine bond to be. Hopefully he's got enough charisma to overcome that. I was thinking the same thing initially. Especially when they kept going on about the hair, but no-one was mentioning he seemed a bit charisma free for Bond. But there were moments when he seemed, dare I say, sexy. So maybe he can pull it off.

Me, I'm glad to see Craig take the 007 part. He's got the most hard-edged look since Connery, and he's without a doubt the best actor to tackle the role. LAYER CAKE, ROAD TO PERDITION and particularly ENDURING LOVE (which not enough people saw)--these are great and vastly varied performances.
No, I wouldn't do him. But I know plenty f women who would.

I find him very ugly. And the James Bond series should just be put to death.

Count me as one who would do him. He's sexy, and does kinda remind you of the gritty, sexiness of Connery.

I watched Layer Cake last night, and I must say that I'm TOTALLY seeing him as Bond now. He's kind of like Clive Owen, not all that interesting in still photography, but absolutely captivating on film. Very sexy. He's got magnificent blue eyes and an amazing body. Rowr.

Clive Owen is way, way cuter in stills. Though those "gay shots" of Daniel are nice, endowment-wise,the film is called "Love is the Devil" and he's boffing Francis Bacon. Yes, the painter. Though the phrase "bond, gay bond" made me think of this story, which may or may nor be true. Uhm, Hugh is Wolverine, which is pretty butch! Ewan is 5'10 (and a half) and not short where it counts. Daniel only has a half-inch on him...in height, of course. So Daniel and Pierce were both named Men of the Year in British GQ. DC looks like hell. Pierce looks stunning in all of his photos -- looks younger than Craig at 52 (14 years older). No wonder he's allegedly angry at being shoved aside when he still seems to got it going on. And hilariously Daniel claims he is "well-known" in America. I think it was rude of Pierce to call him unknown, but come on. Most Americans don't go to the arthouse The only thing I've seen Daniel in is 'The Mother,' which was very good and kinky. He was also scruffy and manly and showed his fine ass. His acting, you say? Very well. I don't know to believe that story -- the only ones up for Bond girl parts are ladies that he has done it with? I would so love Kate to be a Bond girl, though. Fabulous clothes, petulant attitude. I guess if Sienna lands a part as well, we'll know that she's fame-hungry. At least this Bond girl hasn't been considered.... It should really be Angelina, though, as a villainess or sidekick. Especially if they're getting rid of Q and Moneypenny.

Daniel Craig is frickin' hot. And considering Roger Moore was dirty blonde in a couple of the Bond films I don't get what the furor is about.
Didn't anyone see him play Ted Hughes in Sylvia? Yeah, you have to sit through Gwyneth playing Sylvia Plath, but he compensates for it with his hotness.
The biggest thing the Bond movies need is a good script.

I am sort of irked that they keep calling Daniel Craig a "no name" actor. Sure, he isn't a household name but he has been in some high profile films and television programs over the years. He is by no means a huge star but I totally think he should be classified as a "rising star" rather than an "unknown". It is fair. The American and International audiences are not familiar with him. People who have followed his career might know where he's coming from but most people (meaning the people these Bond franchaise folks would be targeting in the US and around the world) don't. And if you ask me that is always good for any new Bond. You don't want people associating you with any other baggage from the past...for Bond it's important that people only associate your face with the Bond character. I don't hold out much hope that the next Bond movie will be any good. I think it will follow the pattern of recent years and be another crapfest.
