Hey, that’s exactly what I think about her. I had an aunt who was a narcissist. Did her best to divide up the family. That’s how they operate. I feel bad for Meghan if she didn’t have the modeling growing up to help her understand that embroidering the truth and playing people against one another is not how you’re supposed to treat family (although Doria Ragland seems like a lovely genteel woman, so I have my doubts about her daughter not having had a good role model). On the other hand, if she was born a narcissist, maybe there was no changing how she’d turn out and, as a C-list actress, she just didn’t have the fame and money and clout to be a nightmare and becoming a royal (and marrying another narcissist) is what fueled her evolution into nightmare boss and client. ETA: I also think that even though Meghan lied about having not researched the BRF before getting herself set up with Harry, she was utterly out of her league when they became involved. She may have been fame-adjacent as an actress, but she just does not seem to have had any clue of what the public scrutiny would be like, that it would not always be positive, or how powerful “Never complain, never explain” can be. And because she thinks she’s smarter than everyone else in the room, she won’t listen to expert guidance. I can’t imagine how frustrating she and Harry must be to work for.

And because she thinks she’s smarter than everyone else in the room, she won’t listen to expert guidance. I can’t imagine how frustrating she and Harry must be to work for. I agree. The level of fame Meghan experienced pre-Harry was pretty minimal. She was out there promoting the heck out of herself, like any other working actress, but she was at best C-list. Then suddenly everyone was paying attention to her, but she didn't want to admit that it was because of Harry. Remember how mad she got over the "She's just wild about Harry" headline in Vanity Fair? She got that cover because she was dating Harry, not because of anything she did on her own. Then she didn't get that people weren't going to forever gush over her and the molecules in the room changing when she walked in or whatever nonsense that was. When you're a new royal bride, people are generally well disposed towards you, and hoping you succeed. But that beginning wave won't last forever. You have to show that you can do the job. And there is a good reason why “Never complain, never explain,” was QEII's motto. You simply cannot spend all day every day fighting with everyone who doesn't like like you. You need to get on with it and focus on what's actually important. Also, when you're a senior royal, griping about how the free house and garden you've been given in central London aren't fancy enough for you is not a good look, to put it mildly.

Isn't it interesting that Meghan would take one of the worst looks she's ever worn and wear it again? It didn't look good the first time she wore it, and somehow without the train it looks even worse! Her vacant stare into the camera does her no favors either. This dress should never see the light of day again.

She doesn't look good there. Head or dress styling.

I don't get the inverted nipple look, and the bodice is particularly unflattering. I guess it's good that she's wearing something colorful, though?

I wasn’t a fan of the dress the first time she wore it. I found the top of the dress incredibly ill-fitting and distracting.
So she showed up to get her picture taken and then quickly ducked out. Not much philanthropy going on there. Typical of the Sussexes - no substance, all about the optics.

She looks good in red, but this outfit is just awful and removing the train didn't help it any.

I wonder if she's repurposing it because designer loaners are drying up.

They would have been a great asset to the Crown. They could have handled things better instead of going scorched earth and being so bloody petulant at every turn. They could have been doing some of the work that the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh are currently undertaking with the King and the Princess of Wales sidelined.

They would have been a great asset to the Crown. Meghan needs to focus on being an asset to her company that was announced six months ago. She and Harry are happy and thriving in California and let's hope it stays that way. I love seeing Sophie and Edward get the attention and praise.
