Is Erza still involved with the Native American girl whose parents accused him of basically "R. Kellying?" I think the girl is 18 now, so not really up to the courts. But still, weird and disturbing.
What a disturbed, hot mess they are.

I don't know about the girl, but the mom and kids who were living with them are missing.

After reading the article, I can't see a way this ends without tragedy. It's just a matter of how many people will end up harmed or dead.

News from the Ezra frontlines: Pleads not guilty to home burglaryThough it's likely not current, that picture of Ezra in the link is odd. I heard there's some kind of rubbery appliance men can put in their mouth and use to exercise their jaws to get that hollow-cheek superhero look. If so, Ezra has been overdoing it. (There's also a surgery, damned if I don't remember where I saw it, that creates the same look by removing some molars. Said surgery has fallen out of favor because, well, we need to chew.) Ezra, with help from JK Rowling, helps bring down "Fantastic Beasts" franchiseI guess Ezra's character could have been written out or recast, but his association is a buzz the franchise didn't need. I can guess product merchandising and publicity may have played a part as well.

Fantastic Beasts was never that girl anyway. I don’t think WB had any idea what to do with it in the first place. I tried to watch the first one and I just couldn’t get through it.

I watched all three, but it seemed to be wrapped up in a pretty neat bow.
Johnny Depp was dropped as Grindelwald in the third one. Because he was a shape shifter, (Colin Farrell in the first one) I guess it was okay? But the Ezra Miller character was pretty important and the only cliffhanger in the third movie.
I will miss the more minor players and the little romances. I loved Jacob and Queenie, that was left open. I guess if they left out all the “battle for the witching nation” I would be just fine. More fantastic beasts in suitcases and cute pairings of star crossed muggles/witches (warlocks?).

Fantastic Beasts was never that girl anyway. I don’t think WB had any idea what to do with it in the first place. I tried to watch the first one and I just couldn’t get through it. Yet they greenlit 5 movies originally, not even the usual 3 and then awkwardly try and turn it into a quintology if it took off like Pirates. I liked the first one but it was just a fun, nonsensical romp for most of it. Then they wanted to turn it into this huge Grindelwald vs Dumbledore Saga where Newt was both useless and uninterested in participating but still the "main character". Why didn't they just order "Young Dumbledore" in the first place? Not to mention it made some of JKR's now notorious alleged head canon revelations "I always knew that Nagini was a sweet young woman cursed to be a snake and then mind raped when I wrote Neville's Big Hero Moment being to cut off her head!" This franchise was in big trouble without Ezra Miller but they're bizarre and dangerous incidents certainly didn't help anything. Ezra's character should have stayed dead after the first one. He just became involved in a stupid and convoluted plot that made no sense anyway.

I loved the first Fantastic Beasts and being back in the Potterverse. I couldn't wait for the second one. But between J.K. Rowling, and bringing Depp on board I was done. He was god-awful in the part. I wish they had figured out a way to keep Farrell in the role. Ezra Miller was just cherry on top.
