I did a search and... odd, that.

I am a hardcore DC Comics fan, and believe me, I HATE the agressively joyless, dark-beyond-dark universe that Snyder concocted around the DC icons. My favorite DC Comics-based films were Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Shazam and Birds of Prey, and I loved all of them precisely because they avoided the crappy tone and look of the Snyder-directed DC films. I loved the Shazam and Wonder Woman films. Not interested in Birds of Prey, because I'm sick of seeing Harley Quinn everywhere.

They cancelled Scoob! as well. Looks like it's better for the studio to take tax loses on the films than to spend the doubling costs of advertising them for theatrical release. (Looks like the movies really are b.a.d.)
If Flash looks good to review audiences, they might release it. It's all about profits. They have already pulled the plug on their two of their big DC movies, if they see a glimmer of a success with Flash, they will release it.

Supposedly it performed poorly with test audiences. I watched Ms. Marvel (the directors' other project) and it was ok, but not great. I wonder if they will cut their loses with the Flash and cancel it to. I thought they might release it on HBO Max only, but now maybe they will just scrap it entirely. It would be a PR nightmare to cancel Batgirl and let Flash be released. What a mess!

Flashpoint cost more than double what Batgirl is said to have cost and they are/were going to use it to reboot the DCEU although it's unclear if that's going to happen with the new management going in a completely different reaction. With Batgirl they dumped an allegedly bad movie that was already going to be on HBOMax and probably not going to gain them many new subscribers and made use of a loophole in tax law. Flashpoint would be a much bigger blow financially if they pull it. Not that that makes it better for the people who put time and effort into it or those who desperately want to see Babs in live action in a big project.
But it will be a PR nightmare to explain why they're promoting a person who openly grooms and allegedly kidnaps/holds hostage kids and teens but are seen to treat the cast of this movie, who have done nothing wrong, badly by many of them finding out it had been killed from the internet.

Yeah, I am not getting this at all. Zaslav, the head of WBD (merged corp of WB and Discovery) actually mentioned that Batgirl being cancelled is trying to "protect the DC brand." But wouldn't the brand be more damaged by openly promoting a splashy, mega-expensive theatrical film that stars a violent, misogynistic, crazy groomer than by making a minor HBO MAX movie that might or might not get mediocre reviews? Not to mention that The Flash misght still end up getting bad reviews.

When the report says that "they were on camera within the unoccupied home" I assumed there were more than one person in the premises.
Was this just Ezra Miller breaking into a house and stealing liquor?
