Yeah, Miller sucks out loud for a lot of reasons that have nothing to do with being NB and everything to do with being violent and generally awful.

I never thought I'd feel sorry for a movie studio, but boy, they're kind of stuck here. They can't exactly reshoot the whole movie at this point. And Miller's poor coworkers are screwed too.

Ezra Miller was known to be awful long before publicly identifying as non-binary. Behavior that absolutely would have cost them their career if they'd been or identified as a woman. It was their male identity that protected them for so long in the beginning, leading to the starring role. Maybe if studios were less inclined to look the other way when men behaved badly they wouldn't find themselves in situations like this.

Certainly being masculine-presenting and white privilege did help them get such a plum role. No matter how much they suck, I will refer to them by their preferred pronouns and refer to Ezra by they/them/theirs where applicable.

This. And that article trying to make it seem like they are some poor suffering soul cause of fame. They got famous with playing the Flash, never was widely known before then. Also they come from a wealthy ass background. They are a spoiled asshole and need to get their ass beat and jail time when caught.

No matter what, the DCEU will never be able to outlive all these scandals (AmberDepp, EzraGate, SnyderCrapolaMoviesAndHisCrazyFans). I feel that at this point, they need to start over. Too bad that the good things that the universe gave us (Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn) will have to be dropped as well if they start from scratch in order to ensure that potential audiences who are turned off by all the Ezras and the Ambers and the Snyders actually pay for tickets to DC Comics movies.

The Rock has Black Adam coming out in a few months and I'm sure he's expecting to save the whole DC movie mantel, but I think it's beyond hope at this point.

I've disliked all the DC movies except Wonder Woman and Aquaman, and I am lukewarm on them.

There is a whole audience ready for a Snyderless/Ezra/Amber reboot and there are more of us, and we have more money! I'd love to drop some cash in a Dwayne Johnson IS Black Adam! I even watched that stupid earthquake movie he's in because I'll watch anything with The Rock in it. Show me a movie with Black Adam and Aquaman and I'm there.

I know the hardcore DC love the dark and brooding, but a little humor that these guys naturally have will go a long way to putting butts in seats.

I am a hardcore DC Comics fan, and believe me, I HATE the agressively joyless, dark-beyond-dark universe that Snyder concocted around the DC icons. My favorite DC Comics-based films were Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Shazam and Birds of Prey, and I loved all of them precisely because they avoided the crappy tone and look of the Snyder-directed DC films.
