Wasn't she supposedly screwing the pool boy or somebody a couple of years ago? The Enquirer is usually spot on about divorces.

I've never really understood what was all that great about Bruce (musically). Granted, in 1975, I was all of a year old, but I DO remember the Born in the USA craziness. I was just raised in a different music genre(Grateful Dead, 80's punk, and techno), and never caught on to the Boss.
I respect the mans' politics though, and his commitment to blue collar workers in this country. At least he contributes more to the world than Mick and Co. (the Stones)

The man is a poet- some of his first stuff can make me . It also makes me curse the gods of talent that I can't write like that. I just adore him-

Truly! I love him. His lyrics can make me weep, wave a defiant fist, leap for joy. Love him, love him, love him.

If they are, they're not giving that appearance (yeah, I know -- Nick & Jessica; Lance & Sheryl, etc.) because they were together arm-in-arm at Grammy week parties. They've been together quite a while now. Their kids must be teenagers.

Does anyone know the true story why his marriage to Julianne Phillips ended?
I heard she couldn't have kids so he dumped her.

I don't know the story but they seemed so different - and it was only 2 or 3 years into the marriage that he was being not-so-discrete about his affair with Patti. I remember that Julianne was totally shocked. He didn't handle it well for sure.

Sigh. If this story is true, my love for Bruce died just a little: ETA: Looks like the Enquirer was right about this one.

That sucks. I live near them and my brother's have met him a few times over the past few decades. He is very warm, down to earth, very humble. I have a great picture of my brother at his house with Bruce's arm around my brother.

Wow, they've been together for a long time, too--it's got to be going on 20 years.
My total non claim-to-fame-but-thrilling-because-I'm-from-Jersey is that my mom's cousin lived in a boarding house with him down the shore in the early 70's, before he hit it big. She always said he was a totally cool guy just looking for his break, playing all the little clubs in Asbury--and that he practically always had a guitar in his hand.
