I think he's brilliant! So talented and seems like a nice down to earth kind of guy. Although I thought his last album (Devls and Dust) was disapointing. I absolutely love Born to Run and Born in the USA albums I like some of his earlier stuff too Rosalita is such a great song and it doesn't feel like christmas untill I have heard his version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Just wondered what everyone else thinks of him

I liked his guest spot in "High Fidelity."
I didn't know a lot of his stuff 'til last year when I picked up the Greatest Hits CD. "Brilliant Disguise" is awesome. I like him and have a ton of respect for him.

There are two kinds of people in the world: those who love Bruce, and those who haven't seen him live. (Shamelessly ripped off from a local review -- sorry I can't give further credit.)
Seriously, this man IS A GOD in concert. "Born to Run," blasting with 50,000 people positively screaming along, was a total stadiumgasm. I love the Boss.

I dated a guy who really hated Springsteen. I never could understand why. I mean, you might not totally dig all of his stuff but I dare you not to be moved by The River. I love Bruce and think he is one of the few super-rich rock guys whose social concerns and "common touch" (for lack of a better phrase) come across as genuine.
When I was young, my dad used to turn out all the lights and our family would dance around to (guess what is coming...) Dancing in the Dark. Happy memories.

Me too, mutagen! Mr. Oxynia and I have seen him live a few times and, like U2, it's the most amazing combination of great music, sex and church all rolled into one. Three freaking hours!! We went home exhausted every time. I don't know how he does it, especially since he's not a puppy anymore. And he gets sexier with age.

I might get run out of this thread but ever since he married Patty, he hasn't made a good album. She is my Yoko Ono. FYI, Nebraska is my favorite Springsteen album.

My sister and I are pretty sure my dad has a raging man-crush on Bruce Springsteen. (It's actually kind of endearing.) Seriously! Take a look at his music collection! He has every. single. thing. the man. has. ever. released. Plus multiple live DVDs, concert t-shirts, everything. (I must say, though, that he is definitely an Attractive Older Gentleman and he makes some durned good music, so it's not like I blame my dad or anything.)

I always crack up when I hear about how Reagan wanted to use "Born in the USA" as his anthem, not realizing it went against what he stood for. (Same with John Mellencamp's "Little Pink Houses")

Sirius is starting an all Sprinsteen channel.
I didn't know he is re-releasing Born to Run. They are adding two DVDs with it.
