Do you think he was serious about Cobie (Robin on "How I Met Your Mother")? I know I'd seen an article (scifi.com maybe?) saying that she was interested in auditioning. I guess it's all just speculation now, but I'm curious about who he viewed in the role.

She looks the part, but I don't know if she could pull off the acting.

Although, I don't think Lynda was a great actress (but she was so pretty!).

I still think Superman would have been better handled by Kevin Smith, because he has a LOVE for the original comic.

This youtube video of Kevin Smith talking about his Superman script is one of the funniest things ever and shows just what writers like him, and I assume Whedon, have to deal with.

Joss Whedon is a non-entity in my life, except for the fact that I was pretty sure he was going to go with a tiny thing to play WW. That upset me greatly.

It's a shame Lucy Lawless is too old to play her.

Looks like Hollywood strikes again. I think Joss is a great writer, but this whole WW business sounded like chaos since day one for him.

Maybe we can get more Firefly/Serenity? ;D

I think Whedon would have done ok with WW but I'll be curious to see who gets put in charge of that movie now. Ridley Scott? He does seem to like casting tall women anyway.

I wish Lawless was just a bit younger, then she might actually get the role. I could see Jessica Biel get picked though... she's kind of one of the "it" girls now I guess.

Kevin Smith's Superman script is the dumbest thing I've ever seen - at least the dumbest thing from a name screenwriter. It reads like fan-fic written by a 14-year old. Judge for yourself. I don't understand how he can brag about it.

Of course, I don't like Whedon either. I remember a hilarious interview moment: Whedon is complaining that they only used one line from his X-men rewrite. The interviewer remarks that the final script included the horrible line about 'toads hit by lightning' and Whedon sheepishly admits that he wrote that one as well. But he tries to blame Halle Barry for screwing up its potential.

Apparently he's working on a live action Sailor Moon movie, according to Oh No They Didn't. Mishca Barton is Sailor Moon, Anya from Buffy is a villain.
