Aw, that's sweet. Good for them.

Congrats to them both. You just know she's going to pick a super Hollywood name for that kid though.

Congrats to them both. You just know she's going to pick a super Hollywood name for that kid though. Anne is one of those who constantly has to advertise how much she reads, so I'm betting something extremely literary. My guesses are Euripides Quill if it's a boy and Bronte Ophelia if it's a girl.

What exactly is the appeal of her husband? He seems kind of dull and just overall vanilla. I just don't get it. He was in Ricki and the Flash for about two seconds. I've seen extras with more screen time than he had. What does he do for a living? Kind of mean to say and to each their own, but she seems to have horrible taste in men.

Oh, I didn't even know he was an actor. I thought he was from outside the industry. These types of Hollywood marriages never seem to work when the female is famous and the male is not. Except for the inexplicable Julia Roberts-Danny Moder pairing. Just found out from IMDB that Danny's getting work primarily through his wife. I'm surprised Anne isn't pulling some strings to get her hubby more work.

He's dabbled in acting, he's dabbed in producing and he's dabbled in jewelry design, and I don't think he's doing any of those things any more. Now I think he's got a home office where he dabbles in something. He grew up in NYC and studied theater at Brown University - my guess is he grew up with money and never needed to settle on a real career.
Anne seems to like having a husband who is low profile and has lots of time to hang out and walk the dog with her, so it's probably a good thing. It's better than marrying a famous actor who is busy all the time and doesn't really want to settle down, or some jet-setting pretender to a European throne who makes money in dubious ways and wears white jeans.

That's a good point Ginger. I prefer this guy over that sleeze she was engaged to before. You have to be pretty darn smart to get into Brown (money can only do so much) so I'm sure he's intelligent. Sounds like he hasn't figured out the color his parachute.

Prior to marrying him, her husband was famously snapped walking off with a piece of art that I think was affixed to the side of a building. The owner of the piece of art demanded it's return via the press or he would press charges so Anne's hubby returned it. So I always side eyed the guy. I know he "designed" their engagement/wedding rings because of the press release that was put out and the hilariously staged pap pics where you got to see the ring up close.

I forgot about the art theft. NY Post If you are a white hipster who wears quirky sunglasses and carries a manbag, it's not a crime, it's just a little bit of harmless naughtiness. I don't know what you are talking about with "staged" pap pics - they just happened to be making out in the park with her left hand facing the cameras at all times.

"Acts like a thief". Hmm I wonder if the press would be so kind if an average joe walked off with a piece of art. They make it sound so accidental! He just happened to walk off with something that didn't belong to him!
I think the lingering shadiness around her ex who got jailed, the questionable antics of this dude and then her flogging her engagement & wedding and going obnoxiously over the top on the awards circuit made me well and truly sick of her.
Given the rumours of a Christian Bale hook-up while she was engaged I'm actually surprised the marriage has lasted but maybe hubby is happy being a house husband and "dabbling".
