Wait! She had a prior history of domestic abuse and attacked THREE cops and they managed to arrest her without shooting her!? I didn’t think that was possible. I wonder what made this situation different? Hm.

Okay, I loved Jack Wagner so much when I was a kid. Looooved. I even have his one hit single downloaded.

I can't believe how far Heather has fallen. I always forget she was married to Tommy. I really admired her when I was young- she was always on 17 magazine and the like. I hope she gets help.

I'm sitting here literally (and I mean LITERALLY for real) choked up. In tears. I'm 42 now, so I feel like I've "known" Heather all my life. She's like a big sister or an auntie (a real stretch since I'm a black chick from Brooklyn), but when I think of Heather, it's always good times and good vibes.

I knew even before I opened the thread that it was more bad news. I hate that. I want her to have her triumphant Joan Collins/Alexis Carrington moment, dammit! She needs help and to work consistently to keep her out of trouble. If she's entertaining me in a great show she won't have time to be stepping to cops and beating their asses (if I ever have beef with a law enforcement officer, I'm sending a petite blonde friend to regulate for me.)

I like this woman for some reason and I wish her only good things.

She's an addict and she really needs to get intensive help. She's ill. I wish her the best, it's sad to see her like this.

Oh how random. My sister in law was telling me she sold her chicken coop to a "Lumbee" and gave me a brief history lesson. I think Lumberton, NC has a high population of Lumbee's hence the name. Can't imagine Heather Locklear ever living that rural.

It would probably be more accurate to say that she has Lumbee descent; she’s California born.

I feel like there is a word for this thing when you find out about something random and obscure, or perhaps just unknown to you, and then it pops up again right away. Anyone?

I think every TV show would benefit from adding Heather to the cast. She can do sitcoms, she can do campy drama - she's always just been a really fun actress to watch. But she's gotta get clean first. I'm rooting for her and I hope this incident is finally her rock bottom.
