I think every TV show would benefit from adding Heather to the cast. She can do sitcoms, she can do campy drama - she's always just been a really fun actress to watch. But she's gotta get clean first. I'm rooting for her and I hope this incident is finally her rock bottom.

You're so right. I remember how surprised I was by how much I enjoyed her in Spin City. She's truly a natural actress who has IT -- star quality. It's an undefinable charisma that draws/keeps attention. The fact that women seem to love her as much as men did during her prime also says a lot. She somehow managed to seem like one of the girls despite being drop dead gorgeous.

I will always root for her to win. Always. I hope there is someone in her life who can help her clean up her act so she can return to our TV screens/queues in a fierce role made for her. It's time.

I just saw her in a rerun of Scrubs over the weekend; she was really good in that. I've always enjoyed the things I've seen her in. I hope she can get the help she needs. Her poor daughter.

Addiction is just the worst. She might be a lovely person, but if she's in her addiction she isn't. And this is so hard on her family. I too hope she gets the help she needs. And I hope when she's clean and sober she appreciates her white privilege and that she wasn't shot dead fighting the police. I hope her children are getting some help too.

She was on an episode of Fresh Off the Boat last season and she looked pretty bad. She hasn’t looked great in a while so that wasn’t a total surprise. But her acting was terrible too. She was playing the type of character she used to be able to do in her sleep, bossy, bitchy. But she was wooden and just a complete zombie. I wondered then if she had a relapse or maybe she just never stopped. I hope she gets the help she needs.

It would have been perfect (and so meta for her to return to Dynasty as someone else). Even her old flame Jake from Melrose Place is playing Blake Carrington!

She keeps making headlines now for the wrong reasons. From the Daily Mail: Heather Locklear hospitalized for threatening to shoot herself months after she was arrested for domestic abuse and sent to rehab

Heather Locklear has been taken to hospital for psychiatric evaluation after threatening to shoot herself, according to law enforcement sources.

A relative of the troubled actress reportedly call 911 on Sunday concerned she was acting erratically and was going to hurt herself, TMZ reports.

According to the dispatch audio, the caller told the dispatched that Locklear was looking for a gun to shoot herself.

Both Ventura County Fire and Sheriff's Departments responded and the 56-year-old was taken to a local hospital.

I wonder what happened to her?
