Oh dear, I did open the thread with the thought of her topping the board that this can't be good.
I've always had a soft spot for Heather going back as far as the TJ Hooker days.

Sad. They say suicide is contagious, so I do worry about the less stable/healthy/happy celebs after the last week or so.

I'm very glad that she didn't have easy access to a gun when she was making suicidal threats. She's fortunate to have a relative who took her threats seriously. I say this every time she has a crisis, but I really hope this is the point where she turns a corner and starts getting her life back together.

I'm hopeful for her.
A) She has at least one family member who is looking out for her.
2) She didn't sneak off and commit suicide, she made a threat. She probably wants help.

If Wikipedia is accurate, she started having issues while divorcing Richie. Seems like at the time, he was too. Didn't she catch him with Denise Richards or something? It's like somewhere in there, everything fell apart. I hope she gets the right help and comes back from this. I liked her as an actress and she used to have a great sense of humor. I wonder what changed.

I think Life happened to her. (By Life, I mean the same sort of bad shit that everyone else gets flung at them. Celebrities are not immune, especially as they age.)

I don't think there was overlap, but it was still a major violation of Heather and Denise's friendship. I remember that Heather was dating David Spade at the time, and he remarked to TMZ at the time that Heather was doing ok considering she was nursing a stab wound in her back. |
