This is really sad. I don't know what more they can do for her at this point. Clearly the trips to rehab aren't working. Her family must feel so helpless.

I have an Uncle in the same boat, that my Aunt just had to have involuntarily committed for (at least) 30 days. It's a long, awful, process. Based on what I'm seeing, I'm guessing these issues have been around for years for her--but with self medication, such as alcohol or drugs. At some point though, it just doesn't work anymore.
Stuff like this is why I really believe we need to have a bigger national discussion on therapy, and getting help, for her generation and older it was a shameful thing to have "crazy" family, and a lot of people didn't get help that they needed because of shame and embarrassment. My mom tells the story that when she came home for a visit, she noticed some issues with her brother and her father refused to hear about them (we also lost another uncle to suicide, and all of my uncles on this side have issues with alcohol and drugs), even got a little bit angry. How could any of HIS children be sick?

When she was married to Tommy Lee everyone was like "good girl marries the bad rocker." Well, maybe they had more than common than we knew ... (especially given that Brandon, Tommy's son with Pamela, is busy posting wasted photos of Tommy all over the internet).

Brandon Lee was never charged. Tommy threw shade at his own son(s) on social media on Father's Day. If Heather had procreated with Tommy, maybe that'd be another layer of dysfunction she's have to deal with in her life. |
