I agree she should probably buy another home, but he did ask her to move closer to him. Now, she knows that was a dumb move, but she seemed to want to foster a relationship between him and the girls. $1.5 isn't really a lot when you think about how much he's spent on sex and drugs.

But he's been a deadbeat dad to all of his kids spanning three wives, so I can't imagine taking something like that at his word. She's right to get courts invovled, though. He basically asked them to move and uproot their lives to live nearby, then cut the chord, again. Stay classy, jerk.

Her children will never be able to claim that Denise sabotaged their relationship with their father. Denise has done all she could to enable him to be in those girls' lives; Charlie has been the one to trash each chance he has been given. Emotionally, I think that's an important point. The girls will probably have a lot of questions when they are older (if they don't already) and Denise will be able to say that she supported him being in their lives at every step. All the destruction can be laid at Charlie's feet.

I know Charlie Sheen is an asshole but this woman is already getting 55k a month in child support plus tuiton and other expenses. The kids have a huge trust fund and now she wants him to pay for a mansion? He probably already paid her rent since those kids were born. I think 55k a month is more than enough for a single woman and two kids. Even by Hollywood standards. Why didn't she save some money or is she really spending all of that cash each month plus the 500K she makes a year? She needs to buy her own house and she needs to also be providing for her children.

A lot of women have "Charie Sheen"-ex-husbands. Most of them don't get 55k a month, trust funds for the kids and have a 500k income a year on top of that. What the hell? How does she pay her rent and make a living when the kids turn 18?

As I recall, she had a house. Charlie asked her to sell it and move next door to him so he would have greater access to his kids. He begged her. Against her better judgement, she sold her home and moved because he promised to pay for it and never evict her and the kids. And within just a few years he did just that. He uses everything he can to manipulate those around him. "You piss me off. I own this house. Get out."

I think there was a similar eviction made when he started dating his newest porn star/wifeling a few years ago. Now he's back to the same old same old.

It sounds more like a "we had a deal" thing with Denise. She takes care of their kids, and the other kids he is screwing up. He is expected to keep his promises. Denise seems to be the Only person who holds Charlie accountable, and I say good for her.

He is also the highest paid actor in television. He makes megatons of money. This is not about the money. It's about control.

That "I thought it was Denise" excuse is a total lie. Even so, doesn't he realize the girl would likely stumble on these texts on her phone eventually? He's a pig.

Denise's other house is still for sale. Some commenters on Celebitchy wondered why she didn't just move back into that one instead of renting. Apparently her old house is quite far from the girls' school. Denise has had trouble enrolling them anywhere because of Charlie. They were kicked out of one private school because he harassed the staff and they've been rejected from several other private schools in LA because of their father and his baggage. She's had to cut the price of the house so she might not see much profit.

One part of ne thinks Denise should get his rights terminated and care for the girls on her own, but another part says that's just not feasible. She's not a good actress, she can't guarantee steady work and income. They can't disappear and start a new life somewhere. And has been said, he's the richest man on TV. What it costs to provide shelter and support to his children and their mother is a small fraction of his fortune. It just means one less hooker and one less kilo at every party. Poor Charlie. It's not about the money to him, he just wants to hurt his kids. He's a monster.

Given her history with Charlie, Denise Richards is probably the dumbest person on the planet if this is what happened. If my ex-husband would pay me 55k a month, I would buy a decent house for my family and stay as far away as possible from this guy. Why would she move into a house right next to him and that he pays for? Again, I know Charlie Sheen is an asshole but Denise is pretty money hungry too if she agreed to that. She should be able to pay her own rent and not be depending on Charlie's money for everything. I read somewhere that she usually needs 90k a month (housing not included!). Charlie makes a shitload of money but HE earned it. HE worked on that TV show and HE is/was the highest paid TV actor. Denise is not and she should adjust her lifestyle accordingly (less nannys, employees, cars etc.). The guy is already providing for his children and a luxurious lifestyle. The entitlement here is just out of control.
