I've liked him ever since he happily referred to himself as Jennifer Connelly's "set bitch" in an interview. In fact, he comes off well in most interviews I've read, funny and self-deprecating. And I like him as an actor, too; I thought he was Russell Crowe's equal if not superior in A Beautiful Mind and Master and Commander (especially the latter).

Here's hoping my mild crush doesn't die too horrible a death on this thread...

I've loved him in every one of his films I've seen, even if the movie sucked, his role managed to make it at least a little enjoyable. I'm thinking about Wimbledon as I type this.
