Love him. I love that he is able to speak about his personal life without being very revealing and without being all "no comment" or jerkish about the curiosity that people have about his life. I think he is extremely talented but it is a talent that has been earned and honed over time. You can certainly see his inexperience and lack of presence in earlier films but it was like he hit his stride with Gangster Number 1 and never looked back.
I love his performance in Master and Commander and would be happy if he and Russell Crowe made a film together every so often. They have great chemistry (Croew certainly has better chemistry with Bettany than with Jennifer Connelly in A Beautiful Mind) and I love that Peter Weir didn't mess with a good thing and cast them together in A Beautiful Mind. I only wish they were going to make another Aubrey/Maturin film. Unfortunately, I don't think the first one was financially successful enough and some of the big guns involved (Crowe and Weir) don't seem to be the type for frahcnises, no matter how excellent the prospects.
I also think he would be a FABULOUS (and perfect!) Jonathan Strange in the upcoming adaptation of Susanna Clarke's Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell.

Between his invisible eyebrows and Jennifer's MEGABROWS maybe it'll even out with their child.

His accent in the DaVinci Code was hella sexy. I was totally rooting for the monk. When the self flagalation(sorry I can't spell) scenes were going on I kept trying to see little Bettany. His butt is cute.

Wow...he's incredibly cool. Funny as hell, to boot. Go, Paul!

If someone with better chemistry with Paul had been cast in Wimbledon instead of Kirsten Dunst I think the film would be one of the better romantic comedies - it is funny, engaging and sweet in a "Richard Curtis" way. Unfortunately, she and Paul have zero sexual chemistry - it is almost like they are brother and sister. What a shame.
