She's the new face of L'Oreal Paris. Link I don't like to see another actress go the endorsement route, but I'm really glad that L'Oreal chose her since she's one of the very few actresses who owns her age. So, good for her. She's had a long career, stayed away from the doctor's knife and dated Woody Allen, Warren Beatty and Al Pacino. Talk about her here.

Other than Woody Allen, she has some good taste in mine. She should have had them rewrite the ending to Something's Gotta Give, I would have loved to see her stay with Dr. Julian.

Other than Woody Allen, she has some good taste in mine. She should have had them rewrite the ending to Somethings Gotta Give, I would have loved to see her stay with Dr. Julian. That's the only problem I had with the movie.. I mean, come on, Jack Nicholson over :yummy: Keanu? I don't think so! Yeah, go for the haggard old man with arrested development that treats you like crap -or- go for the hot doctor that encourages you to be a better a person and loves everything about you. It makes my brain hurt just thinking about it. As for Somethings Gotta Give, I loved it! I want that house... truly, I do. I read and reread the Architectural Digest that featured the sets to that house. I have them stashed in my "what if" pile. She's a good choice to be the new face... I just hope they have a stylist that veto's all the coats, hats, and gloves.

I absolutely loved Something Gotta Give and would have been pissed off if she wound up with Keanu's character, because although he treated her better, she loved Jack. hehehe, she said recently that she loves him, off-screen that is, but he doesn't care for her.

Nusan, Niddlemiddle and RedPanda - Dear lord, I could hug each and every one of you! I love Diane, but I hated that movie! What the hell? She supposedly dumps the gorgeous hot young doctor who loves her and treats her like gold for that cheating, gross, gas-bag because he's more age appropriate? I call bullshit - because if the shoe had been on the other foot, no way would they have re-written that film in which Jack leaves the young hottie for a woman his age!
But I love her - she's really great, and I love that she owns up to her age. Good for her for landing a L'Oreal campaign!

She'd look fab if she ditched the beret, turtleneck and granny glasses. As for Something's Gotta Give, I also loved her house and hated that she dumped Keanu (in Paris, no less!) for gross, sausage-fingered Jack.

Here's what you do: Watch "Something's Got to Give" and just stop the movie when she and Keanu are eating dinner in paris. It's a much better movie that way.

My favourite part of Something's Gotta Give was her house. I recently rented The Family Stone and thought Diane Keaton, as usual, was wonderful! The extras on the DVD were enlightening too. They said the only way they got all the actors to commit to it was by signing Diane Keaton first. Once she was on board, everybody else followed. All the actors had interesting things to say about the way Diane acts. It was worth the rental. My only complaint is Sarah Jessica Parker. She did a good job, but I just didn't buy that Dermot Mulroney would ever be attracted to her.

One of my all-time favorite actresses, probably because she is close to my own age, and I have followed her career. My favorite movie of hers is "Shoot The Moon". When she has done interviews, and a list of her movies is brought up for her to comment on, no one EVER mentions Shoot The Moon. I wondered if she perhaps did not have a pleasant time during that film, or what? I think it is her best work.
