The fact that you had to read about this while I can recall it firsthand is depressing me.
Joining the love for Shoot the Moon. A hard movie to watch, imo. Very honest.
Her real last name is Hall. Michael Keaton's real last name is Douglas. He always jokes about his "sister, Diane."
She has a lovely singing voice.

I just saw a scene from Father of the Bride and she looks so radiant in that movie. I thought she was very funny in that movie with Bette Midler and Goldie Hawn (name is escaping me).

Diane received a lot of favorable press about her "Annie Hall style" but it didn't become a trend with women everywhere wearing pants and vests and the like.
I don't have a problem with people setting their own style if the clothes are flattering and the wearer is and looks comfortable, like Katharine Hepburn, for instance. My problem with Diane is that her clothing doesn't flatter her and she is so uncomfortable in whatever she has on. She's a beautiful woman and has a lot going for her, I wish she weren't so insecure.

I know it was a character but, I loved her style in Somethings Gotta Give. It just looked fresh and lovely (of course I've never been into trends). I even liked the turtlenecks.

It was great when she is in the hotel room in the Godfather and calls Micheal stupid, It was an abortion! She got the wind knocked out of her and she played it perfectly.

I'm glad to see makeup companies using actresses as spokespeople rather than models. Models are so blandly perfect lookinng. Actresses tend to have more personality and less-perfect features. I'm looking forward to seeing the Keaton campaign. :-)

I think she's very beautiful and underrated, looks-wise. And she's aged so well.
She has two adopted kids, doesn't she?

I think she's very beautiful and underrated, looks-wise. And she's aged so well. She has two adopted kids, doesn't she? Yes she does. I remember when she was Ellen sometime last year, she was saying how she's afraid to buy a ranch or other large property. She said she's older now than most and has to ensure her money lasts as long as possible now that she has kids. So that's why she won't buy large property at this point in her life. I thought, finally a celebrity with a head on their shoulders!!! Ellen even agreed, despite wanting her to buy a ranch near Ellen
