Lifestyle guru Martha Stewart will be reimbursed by her company for a portion of her legal costs from her recent court battle - to the tune of $3.7 million. Stewart was released from jail two weeks ago, after spending five months in jail when she was found guilty of lying to investigators about a suspicious stock sale. And in a Securities And Exchange Commission filing yesterday, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia said an independent expert determined Stewart was entitled to $3.7 million for certain expenses related with her legal defense. The filing stated that the company believes insurance will cover any reimbursement to Stewart and "does not believe that the payment will result in an expense to the corporation".

While I do believe that if anybody else asked a judge for more work hours from their house arrest, they'd get them, I don't know who Martha is kidding asking for 80 damn hours a week.
