I feel bad. I always liked when she was on the show. I heard Martha wasn't sure she'd make it to Thanksgiving.

I loved when Big Martha would be on Martha's shows. She was always a good geust. What sad news.

Wow, I remember everytime I saw her being suprised that she made it this long. Nearly every recipe I ever saw her make with Martha was something loaded in saturated fat and cholesterol. On the last Martha DVD I got from the library, they were making potato salad and liver cheese sandwiches.

Big Martha was wonderful-never took any of Martha's admonishments etc seriously-a tough AND funny lady imho. I remember her on the old show one time tut-tutting over the number of super high end ovens and the fridge doors in the island etc. as being just too ridiculous(and expensively unnecessary); I think being at a Kostyra dinner would have been a hoot.
RIP mom.

Martha Stewart is 70? Wow.
What's so weird about that commercial is that she looks ancient there (how old was that guy she was cast against? Ick) and yet today she definitely doesn't look her age. Maybe she got all her aging out of the way when she was a teen so that age gracefully when she was older.
I don't know if she's had work done, but she should send her surgeon a thank you card if she has.

I've always liked Martha Stewart. She looks incredible at whatever age. I think having a bit of weight on her has helped the aging process. It softens her face.

Love seeing that... she was gorgeous! I agree that it's unbelievable that she is almost 70.

I see she was young in that commercial. Perhaps 19, but 15?
Anyway, I agree with Whatafishy, how old was the man in that commercial? He looks to be late 40s, if I were going to be overly loose with my assumption, but really he looks to be in his 50s.
