I really like her. I have to say of all the Danish royals she's definitely my favourite. I think she dresses the nicest, too.

She's not trashy but she's also not dull, either...which i like.

I really like Mary. She's my current fave CP. To be honest , when I first saw Mary I thought she looked really cold and bitchy- even through her engagement. But during her wedding week she suddenly seemed to blossom. She seems to be doing a lot work, even on her own. Being a CP really agrees with her. And I think she's beautiful. Lovely coloring. The bottom of her wedding dress was extremely hideous though. Which is unfortunate, since she's a good dresser most of the time.

Yeah, I thought at first she seemed very reserved --and I wondered about her ability to fulfill her role as CP. But then I saw the documentary on her and I was won over. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it. It is about an hour long and it is mostly in English although the first part is in Danish.

And I totally agree with the bottom part of her wedding dress. I loved the top and middle but God only knows what happened by the time they got to the bottom. It looks like a drape or a folded napkin. Not sure what, but it really is, as you said, hideous.

I guess I do not agree with everyone else. She seems like a very fake person to me. This woman is from Australia and speaks English like she learned it 3 days ago. I really do not think this marriage will last at all.

I'm in Toronto and we finally got the Australian Vogue from November where she's on the cover. She seems nice enough in the profit. Most of hte pictures are nice, although I think she looks awful on the cover shot.

The one weird thing is they talk about her voice and they say that she speaks in a sort of euro-british accent, which is odd considering she's from Australia. Wouldn't she sound like an Australian?

I think the reason that she speaks with a euro-british kind of accent is that she was born in Scotland. Granted, she might have mostly grown up in Australia but she probably didn't lose her accent- I moved from Pennsylvania to South Carolina and I never lost my Northern accent.
Anyway....I like Mary too. She seems like a nice girl.

I love how people are freaking out over Mary posing for a few fashion magazines. You mean..... she likes fashion....wears expensive clothes....and ADMITS she enjoys it?! Let's hold her down and throw rocks at her! People don't wany her acting like a common celebrity... Guess what? She IS a common celebrity. At least she actually performs other duties. I think she's done more (solo even) events during her first months as a princess then the others did. She's not just sitting on her ass MC style. And it's not like the other princesses are hitting up the dicount stores. Did Madeleine hit anyone else with her Lexus today on the way to the Gucci store?
