This is one of the things I like best about him. While reading Long Way Round, the companion book to the series, I was really touched by his constant comments about his family--how devoted a father he seems and how much he loves his parents and his wife. Really lovely. And every time he refers to his daughters as his "wee ladies"--so sweet. I almost feel guilty for lusting after him.

I would have to try VERY hard not to watch if he were walking his daughter to school, because from what I gather, he's extremely protective of the kids-he sued Heat magazine for publishing pictures of him with his daughters at the beach. Big family man, yeah. That's why I can only fantasize about his characters-I feel way too guilty otherwise. (His wife is so beautiful-she looks a little like Audrey Hepburn.)

A friend of mine told me she once saw him walk into a sandwich shop in London and she was practically drooling.

I never really got the Ewan lust until I just saw Down With Love. The man can really rock boxers and no shirt. He was even hot as the geeky astronaut Zip. Damn did I understand Renee's sexual frustration.

Just a reminder that George Lucas will be interviewd on 60 Minutes tonight. I have no idea if any of the actors will be interviewed, but I am watching anyway for a glimpse of the lovely Obi-Wan.

The shots of Ewan and Hayden rehearsing the light saber battle were really nice. As was Obi-Wan's, "You were the Chosen One!"

I finally saw Ewan's appearance on the Tonight show. I couldn't get the clips from the website to load, but the local NBC affiliate reairs shows in the wee morning hours of the following week. It was actually quite funny. I didn't even hate Jay Leno as much as I usually do despite his faux accent everytime he said "McGregor." Ewan has that power. He made me like Nicole Kidman as well.

That's all I got. Oh, add me to the Bravo hate train on how they treated LWR. I got all caught up in the first few eps. and then they totally changed the times. As a result, I missed the ending eps. On the upside, on the Vanity Fair cover of Star Wars, Ewan was totally wearing his motorcycle jacket and looking scruffy.

Hello All,

I'm not someone who follows Ewan like the rest of you, so I thought it odd that I dreamt of him last night.

I had a dream that he was in my massage class. ( I graduated in 1998) and he and I went to an ice cream parlour together and then he came to see my apartment.

It was one of those things where your so attracted and drawn to a guy and he just see's you as a friend?
gah, that dream was sweet and painful at the same time!
