I know he only had 17 or 18 pages on FT, but...but... I lurve him so!
With Robots now released and Revenge of the Sith and The Island in the near future, I thought maybe, just maybe, there could be a little chatter about this lovely man.
I mean, he was Curt Wild!

I'm so glad that there's so much promo for Robots right now. My friends will probably suggest seeing it before I bring it up, and I will be saved from outing myself as a fangirl.
Is Bravo still showing Long Way Round at whatever ungodly hour they were showing it at?

When will Ewan sing again? Has he said anything in interviews about whether he might let us hear that lovely voice again?

Ewan was my first huge celebrity crush (back when he did that ER episode, I think I was about 14), and the love has never really gone away. He'll always be my pretend husband, no matter what.
Robots looks like it'll be so cute. And while I know better than to get my hopes up TOO much, I hope Revenge of the Sith doesn't totally suck.

Bravo is airing episodes of LWR at very ungodly hours. According to my digital cable tv guide, the schedule is as follows for this week (all times Central):
Tuesday at 5 am Wednesday at 4am and another at 5am Thursday at 5 am
I want a bloody marathon! Or at least release the show on dvd in the states.

5 am?! Eek! Ah, well. I've always wondered what it would be like to get up at ass o'clock. I guess I'll soon find out.
I pondered buying one of those all region DVD players so that I could watch the DVD they released in England, but they've been saying for a while that it will be out in the States, no?
Maybe a bootleg of Guys and Dolls will find its way to us. Ewan as Sky Masterson? My death would be imminent.

I just received an email from Amazon.com saying that there are no plans to release the LWR dvd in the States as of yet. But you can register to be notified when the dvd is released. In doing so, you give Amazon permission to alert the distributer that there is interest in the dvd being released here. I've been thinking about getting an all region dvd player as well because there are so many movies I want that are not available here.
Is Ewan using his normal accent in Robots or is he trying for an American one?

Was he doing an American accent for Robots? He didn't sound bad. I mean his previous attempts were laughable, bless his heart.
He makes a cute robot. Will this robot get naked?

As much as I love Velvet Goldmine, his American accent was pretty dodgy. He sounded like he had a sinus infection the entire time!
As for the robot dropping trou, his name is Rodney Copperbottom--maybe that is foreshadowing a very special extra to be added to the dvd.

Hee! Rodney. I'm so 12 I'm 11 and didn't even make it to Copperbottom. Oh wait: yeah I did!
