Really? I thought her body looked slammin' in the Promiscuous(too tired to know if I spelled that right) video.

I didn't really care about her much after getting her first CD, but a few months ago I picked up Folklore and still play it often. I really like Loose, as well.

I really like most of Nelly's music, old and new, but when I saw her in the TV-ads for the Canadian Juno awards I was definitely taken aback. She looks so... different. The fringe in her eyes, the face but especially the lips! Is it just the way she puts on the lipstick nowadays or did she really have something added there?

I dug up her thread because in the Britney Spears thread, everyone is saying how stupid Nelly is and how she's always been stupid. Is she really that bad? I never heard anything about her being particuarly dimwitted. I'm not saying she's a genius, but I was taken aback by people saying she's even dumber than Britney. Did I miss something?

Too bad if she really is that stupid, since I think her music is pretty damn good.

I mentioned before that I went to junior high with her; based on what I remember, I don't think she's necessarily stupid, but not really a rocket surgeon either, if you get my drift. She was a friendly, hyperactive girl, but never really known as dumb (immature and flakey, definitely), and I have a feeling she's trying to be diplomatic when asked about Spears.

I don't think she's dumb. I think she just acts ditzy for whatever reason.

I saw Nelly on Much a few months ago. She acted exactly that way - very ADD/hyper/immature/flaky. I was actually concerned for her child because it seemed to me, this chick is nowhere near ready to parent anyone.

I do think she's talented though. Lucky for her, she's not in classical music so she could sell bubblegum pop and do very well. No high intelligence required for that.

I was the one who mentioned Britney was smarter than Nelly. On rare occasions, Britney can manage a coherent answer during interviews. In all of Nelly's interviews that I've seen, she just rambles on incoherently. She just strikes me as such a bimbo.
