It would be one thing if the Travoltas were like Christian Bale, or Ewan McGregor-both are known for keeping their kids away from the cameras, and I could understand them saying, "You know, we're famous, but our kids are NOT, so we don't want any photos of them taken, blah blah blah". BUT...then they wouldn't also pimp out Ella all the time to the paps.


Oh, and I think it's telling that she's been in Jerry McGuire. Her only movie in years, and it's a TOM CRUISE picture?

Ella is absolutely beautiful. And yes, I get the feeling that CTC saw a photo of Ella just before the press asked him to describe Suri.

She has been in quite a few movies since Jerry Maguire, but movies like- Nothing to Lose, Sky High, What A Girl Wants etc. She plays the wife/mother. Nothing exciting. Just there.

She is a whack-job. And yes, whack-job is a technical term. It makes me really sad for Jett. I wonder if he'll grow up understanding and accepting that they don't give him proper help, or if he will grow up resenting his parents?

I agree with the poster upthread who said they like J-Travolta. He does seem very affable and much more normal than CTC. He seems like he's a guy who happens to be a Scientologist, not that Scientology is HIM.

I remember I went to go see Jack Frost on my 11th birthday and I threw up in the popcorn bucket. Partly because I wasn't feeling well and partly because the movie was crap.

I thought she was beeyooteeful in some of her late 80s teen flicks (Secret Admirer comes to mind). I don't know if she has a sense of humor or just wants very much to have indie cred, but she's done walkons for Robert Rodriguez and she was pretty funny in "Citizen Ruth."

Girlfriend's taste in men is all over the place. Kevin Gage (husband #1), solid actor but not much in the looks department. Then she hooked up with George Clooney. Then she got engaged to Charlie Sheen and he accidentally shot her in the foot so that was the end of that (accidentally my ass). Then she up and signs onto the Travolta marriage contract. I heard she gets financial bumps every time she has a kid; her contract was probably a blueprint for KAK's. Then I heard a fabulous rumor years ago that she and Kate Capshaw were spotted making out at a lesbian hangout.

That's all I got.

I have read about Kelly and John and by all means they are both incredibly insane and live like they are the king and queen of Everything. I remember reading an article in which the interview took place at their house and Kelly was showing the journalist how every day their staff brings her hand-written menus describing what they are going to cook for her. They also reported that when Ella wet herself a maid ran right in and whisked her away in one instant and the way they described it was very $cieno like (ie, get the bad baby away and clear the thetans quickly!). It was all frighteningly indulgent. You could tell Kelly had a really warped sense of how important she was. I wanted to smack her and say, "Bitch, please, you are so not that important!"

In other words, I think that whole family lives in a little plastic bubble of crazy. Apparently the children are home-schooled by $cieno teachers and that they are very seldom are exposed to other children. It's all really creepy and kind of scary.
