I don't know... During my internship I met a ton of people, and became close acquaintances with the Cusacks and really close with Ernie Banks which is a relationship that lasted even through at least his early dementia, so... it is possible to meet people (even if you have no prior connections, but which John clearly did) ...even as a lowly intern!

I think they're both really, really good at networking, but they've also managed to convince themselves that all these connections of theirs are really their good friends. If they have a few flops, I think those connections are going to be less friendly.

Is Krasinski employing writers for this or does he do it all himself? I was surprised at how funny he was considering that he's never been a comedy writer.

I've read his credits for each video and outside of the contributions (FB, Insta, Twitter videos from fans) and celebrity bits, it never says any additional names with regards to writers or anything like that. So maybe John and Emily are doing this on their own? I would think if there were other people directly involved, they'd make mention of them.

He's on the Office Ladies podcast this week, and he name dropped George Clooney within 5 minutes, LOL. It was a fun podcast, and he clearly enjoyed reminiscing with Angela and Jenna Fischer. The topic was the "Casino Night" episode where Jim declares his love and he and Pam kiss.
It seems like his voice has changed a lot since The Office, it now sounds very gravelly and kind of rough. He seems like a nice guy, but has a BIG personality and would exhaust me after a while. I would not be surprised at all to find out that SGN was Emily Blunt's idea to keep him busy during lockdown, LOL.

I have stopped listening to Office Ladies temporarily while I have no commute time to fill with random chatter. It's funny, a few weeks ago Oh No They Didn't were taking bets on whether Krasinski would ever appear on Office Ladies and they decided no, or at least he'd be the very last Office cast member to make an appearance. I guess they were wrong.
I routinely shed tears during Some Good News. Krasinski mentioned on instagram today that "episode 8 of 8" is approaching. That was his way of announcing that he's taking a break from it after the upcoming episode.

The topic was the "Casino Night" episode where Jim declares his love and he and Pam kiss. I KNEW he was going to be on this episode! At the end of the previous one, Jenna promised a big surprise guest for this episode. I figured he’s the biggest get other than Steve Carell. I’ll listen to it this weekend. Interestingly this podcast is making me like Angela Kinsey more and Jenna Fischer less. I don’t know what it is, but I just find her a little bit grating and know-it-all-ly. And also feels like Jenna has some very protected bits on the show, and when Angela tried to bring one in (using the timestamps), Jenna jumped on that one and sort of stole it from her. But she still gets to do her fast facts bit at the beginning. I’m so petty.
