She also struck me as a petty bitch so I'm not surprised. She's a loser.

Wait, she's a member of WGA and is going to work so the tourists who planned their trip to LA can watch her show? That's the lamest excuse ever. How does she do it though since someone is supposed to write her stuff and they're on strike?

The WGA responds.Good. I'd laugh my ass off if there ends up being a boycott of her show. I know I wouldn't feel comfortable going on it.

I am a former union organiser, so no more Ellen for me. For the most part, I liked her, but now, I will not watch anything she does. I will not bore anyone with a long discussion of my political feelings about workers rights, but on a personal level, how could she do this to people she works with on a daily basis, the people who give her the words that help to make her funny and successful? I hope I did not offend anyone, but I really believe that workers rights are the basis of human rights and someone who crosses a picket line...makes my blood boil. I'm right there with you. She's a member of the WGA and she crossed the picket line. She's a scab, pure and simple. I'm done with her. And I wouldn't be surprised if this backfires on her when the strike is settled. If it bothers people like us, imagine how the WGA/SAG/DGA people are going to feel. She may have ended up fucking herself over badly. Me three. She goes on the list with Mr. Sugar Tits. This was a really dumb career move for her in my opinion. Her show depends on attracting stars to appear. Many of them may skip her show in the future. Also, I doubt she will be invited to host the Emmys or Oscars any time soon.

Good for her. For Ellen to be singled out (compared to all the other shows listed) seems a tad unfair, IMHO. ***runs back into hiding***

Are the writers of the other daily talk shows on strike? She may have been singled out because her writers went on strike.

According to this: Would she have a show to make up if she hadn't cancelled at least 1 during Iggygate?
