I saw a clip of the girlfriend on an ET preview last night and something about her just wasn't right. I understand that she's grieving James Brown's death and dealing with the further indignity of being banned from the home she lived in but she was going on about how she was supposed to receive 17% of everything and that he told her that the house and everything in it was hers until she decided to leave. What bugged me about her is when she'd start to sob and then just all the sudden be fine when she'd answer the next question. Such crocodile tears. That being said, I believe that she's truly his wife and had one of his children and is entitled to some of the estate. I just think it's an awful situation.

I know I shouldn't laugh, but this chick's grief-filled tv appearances crack me up.

Still Not Buried. Maybe they'll do a Vladimir Lenin thing with James Brown instead of a real burial.

I was shocked when I read that this morning. That really is terrible.

Still Not Buried. Maybe they'll do a Vladimir Lenin thing with James Brown instead of a real burial. Look I have it on good authority that he wasn't looking that great when he was in NY on display. Why isn't this guy on ice or something. Stored in his home? You mean to tell me the funeral home couldn't or wouldn't hold him in storage until the details for his burial have been finalized. What is wrong with this family.

This is just wrong; bury the man already.
They also need to stop dragging corpses of famous dead folk from pillar to post around the US and dispose of the carcasses expeditiously. Ain't no more of them around and there's nothing they can do to save the estate with them lying dead in a coffin. This is just scandalous, crazy, and totally unnecessary.
