Actress Anne Heche has separated from her husband of five years Coleman Laffoon to be with her Men In Trees co-star James Tupper, according to media reports in the US. Heche, 37, wed movie cameraman Laffoon in 2001 - a year after ending her long-term relationship with chat show host Ellen DeGeneres. Her publicist Lisa Kasteler says, "They have requested that they be allowed their privacy at this time." Kasteler refused to comment on her client's love life any further, but a spokesperson for Tupper confirms he split from his wife in November. Heche and Tupper are currently shooting Men in Trees together in Vancouver, Canada. She plays a New York author, while he plays a rugged Alaskan ranger.

Oh, I think he's sexy in a I-collect-fabulous-art and am not a famewhore kind of way. But physically? I've seen photos of the man in swimming trunks! Then again, I find Donald Rumsfeld kind of hot (I know!) so I can't call anyone out on their crushes.

I will admit it. There is something about Rummy Don. Yes, I know that I am the token Republican here and I'm over it. I think it was his open hostility in press conferences. You didn't see that every day. Plus I was always interested in what new phrase he was going to come up with to basically call someone a moron.

As for Anne, I don't see the appeal at all, as she is very unattractive and marginally talented.

I was lucky enough to see Pamie et. al.'s "Call Us Crazy: The Anne Heche Diaries" and it was SUCH a scream!

It seems to me like she gets almost obsessively involved with whoever she's currently with to the point that they believe they have finally found their soulmate. She never seems to be the one getting dumped, instead she does the dumping. And it seems like it's out of the blue. The other person is thinking that everything's fine and they will be together forever, and meanwhile, Anne's bored and looking for her next victim.

This is a definite pattern, and I can't imagine anyone dating this chick. They will end up crushed and wadded up and dumped for the next best thing!

I used to like her, but her craziness and the casual way she plays with people's emotions and used up any residual good will. Ugh. She sickens me now.
