Anne, piece of advice... Hide the Crazy. Nah, that is her appeal. It is all she has. Crazy people are exciting.

I actually like her as an actress, and I think she's incredibly cute in an elven kind of way.

I think Wol is on to something. I remember a lot of the reviews mentioned the language describing the abuse as hedging and very subjective, as if calculated to avoid litigation. Everything was written as "to my best recollection, I have memories of something that may have happened, etc etc." I'm not saying it didn't happen, but there was something fishy and dodging about the presentation of it.

I remember her sister, Susan, wrote a book about their father which was all about his closeted homosexuality and getting AIDS. Apparently the sister is very level-headed and sane and her book got excellent reviews. Susan says that although they did not have a good relationship with their father, there was definitely no sexual abuse and Anne made it up. Anne, of course, is estranged from both Susan and her mother.
Susan does not seem to be in denial about anything. And she doesn't seem to be unable to face difficult family matters because her book supposedly dug deep into all that stuff. Also, she is not crazy or a publicity hound, so I find her view more trustworth than Anne's.

She is the poor man's Cate Blanchett. Is that a horribly offensive thing to say? All I mean is she is a lower-class version of Cate Blanchett.

Isn't Coley Laffoon from a wealthy family? If so, he probably does have a shot at primary custody given that AH is batshit. He might be the house husband, but if his family is loaded, Homer would be better off in his care.
Coley reminds me a lot of Danny Moder. Both are movie cameramen born into prominent families.

Oh man, you go away for the weekend after making a throw-away comment about The Devil , aka Donald Rumsfeld, and cause a bunch of posters to lose their mind! ;D I only thought he was cute because I saw this retrospective of his career after he was fired he resigned and he was one good looking young man. Now, however, you can smell the sulphur through the tv when you watch him. [/defending my honour]
Topic: Anne Heche is really not that attractive, IMO. She's scrawny, her features are too small, and that voice! Why do all these people lose their minds over her?

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say I lost my mind over her..lol! She is all those things you say and more. Just because I can relate doesn't mean I don't find her annoying sometimes. I haven't even watched one ep of her new TV series.
I did like her in Ally Mcbeal though. When she had Turette's (sp?)syndrome. "SMASHED!! Flat as a pancake!" HAHAHA!!!

I wasn't referring to any posters with the "lose-their-minds" comment! I meant Steve Martin and Ellen DeGeneres who both, supposedly, took to bed when she left and then took months to recover. Over her? That I don't get. I hope Coley is in a better place than her other abandoned loves were.
