Yeah, she may be a terrible person in real life (A Low Vera and how dare you not step aside when a Hollywood star wants your husband for her own) but I like her as an actress.

I can't join in the "Happy Birthday" sentiments because I can't stand her for the aforementioned reasons, but I have to agree, she looks natural and fantastic.

Not the biggest Julia fan, but our special-needs girls/moms group has had this movie on our must-see list ever since it went into production. Most of our girls have read the book, and ds3 absolutely loved it. We've already planned a mother/daughter trip to the theater when it opens.

Cher did it better when it was called "Mask".

I also despise her, one of the few actors that can ruin a movie for me by their involvement. My daughter and I both read Wonder and loved it, so she's dying to see the movie. I'll go so I can spend the time with my daughter, but I'm not excited because of Julia Roberts. I do not think she's a good actress, and I think she's a horrid person, so nothing redeeming in my book!

I cannot stand her either, but the kid in Wonder is played by Jacob Tremblay of Room fame, and I would go to see just about anything he is in.

My kids and I are really excited about Wonder. It's a great book and one that my son really loves. I'm like contractually obligated to go see the movie as a special ed teacher and mom. I don't doubt she'll do a fine job in the movie, but I'm way more excited about Owen Wilson's role.

I haven't watched her in anything in years. I hated Eat Pray Love soooo much. So annoying. But the 90s teen in me will always love Pretty Woman.

90’s teen me loves Mystic Pizza. Other than that, I haven’t really been compelled by anything else, although that’s more of the project-selection than her, really. She also reminds me of the worst of Law and Order when she was dating Benjamin Bratt. I do appreciate that she tends to disappear until she’s promoting something, but I think about how sour and mean she seems as a human, and that leaves a bad taste.

I like a few of her movies but mostly because of other people in them. Like Noyting Hill and America’s Sweethearts. To me she always seems like she is yelling her dialog. I don’t know. She always seems so angry.

I've despised her since the minute I set eyes on her. She's been in some decent movies (Sleeping with the Enemy, Mystic Pizza, Steel Magnolias-couldn't wait till f'ing Shelby died) but in spite of her, not because of her. I don't think she's attractive in any way and I think she's an awful person. I also particularly hated her episode(s) of Law and Order and despise Benjamin Bratt just because of his association with her. Has she ever killed one of my pets or run over my child? No. Maybe in a previous life? Yeah, I have no idea why I hate her so much either....

I think the same thing whenever I see the Lancome perfume commercial she is in. The diamond 'leashes' are bad enough, but can they not frame the shot to hide how badly she walks in heels? C'mon.
