I saw a picture of her a while ago with dark hair. She looked horrible - so much nicer with the blonde. What's her natural colour?

I don't mind her that much. SHe's okay. I'm not really scandalized about her past at all...in a matter fact, it just makes me laugh.

I don't care about her past either. I've really warmed up to her since she's had that baby. She appears to be blossoming a little. I wish she'd wear a little lipstick sometimes.

Yes, Mette-Marit is doing fine, her situation was not easy in the beginning.
It must be difficult to have such an embarrasing father though.
I think he could hide somewhere in the Norwegian backwoods with his new stripper!

He like's to keep everything all about him. He announced on Ingrid Alexandra's (his granddaughter and presumptive future queen of Norway) first birthday that he was getting married to a stripper. And then posed for a picture with her stripping for him. I don't know how to post pictures but if you click on the link you can see it. One classy guy (not) who apparently must like to embarrass his daughter. And who IMO must have a lot of hostility towards her and the royal family for pulling something like that on that occasion.

Wow...what a classy guy! Poor Mette-Marit...it's too her credit that she's moved beyond her past. It can't be nice for her to have her father acting this way. It's nice that her son's father isn't a major famewhore.

As far as Marius becoming a prince, doesn't he have a good relationship with his father? It would be kind of weird for him to get a royal title when his father's still alive and, by all accounts, invovled in his life.

Also...any word on whether Mette Marit and Haakon are going to her dad's wedding?

Of course they are NOT going to her father´s wedding!Mette-Marit has as little contact as possible with her father!
Marius has good contact with HIS father, but he will never become a prince.

Awwww...she's not going to her dad's wedding? So sad. Is it because he's marrying a stripper or b/c they're not close.

Are they not close b/c he's marrying a stripper or are there other reasons, too? IIRC, he didn't walk her down the aisle at her wedding.

As far as Marius goes, I don't think there is any reason to make him a prince (although, it's not like I find the whole idea objectionable). I mean, he has a good relatinship w/ his father and everything. It also seems liek the royals have welcomed him in their family, which is nice to see.

Mette-Marit and her father are not at all close. I think it's because after she married Haakon, her dad turned into this lunatic name-dropping famewhore. He sells ladies underwear, made a wierdass dance video of himself trying to apologize to his family, and tried to cash in on his daughter's fame by writing an unauthorized bio of her and Marius.
And I'm sure his announcement to marry a stripper is not at all well received. And damn, that stripper is the queen of the ugly. Check her out:
